American is a strange case. We have immigrated in different waves. Those who've been here longer have ostracize "newcomers". During one period, what I call "Irish need not apply days" those being turned away decided enough was enough. They decided St. Patrick's day was going to be a day for them. A day to not shy away from racism but to be proud of who they are as Americans. Needless to say it is an American holiday. One I'm very proud of. Frankly, it doesn't have much to do with Ireland but rather acceptance and fighting back again racism as an American.

I actually expected to see Tony once he was mentioned, he seems like a chill enough guy to join in on a KZread sketch.

I don't even know which part was funniest! Started laughing at Austin's chip bag, still laughing after the last "that counts"!!!

I love that these videos now have multiple storylines

Remembered that guacamole chips are good? They're probably the most interesting flavor in the vending machine and once Rich saw Austin with them he wanted to try them, and they're a good flavor

It’s so hard to remember he’s just one person. I wonder if he had any acting classes he juggled while pursuing his nursing degree!

I was born and raised in Georgia USA. Our kindergarten teacher warned us to be sure to wear green on St Patrick's Day. Folks got pinched a lot in grammar school. But not me. Momma made sure that my siblings and I had green clothes.

@@scottishhellcat most of my teachers in early elementary came prepared for it. Green stamps, green stickers, etc. One even went around with a green marker and drew on your hand if you didn’t have green on.

The real/first color for St Patrick's Day is light blue.

I’m American, but I’m of Irish descent and have an Irish last name. I’ve never really taken the pinching thing that seriously, but I did get a bunch of crap today because my camo sweater was apparently grey instead of green. I see green when I look at it, but maybe I’m just blind 🤷🏼‍♀️

Best St. Patrick’s Day I’ve had; lived in SF. Late 80’s. We both dyed all our clothes green. I already had green hair. Got a bottle of Jameson’s whiskey, went down to the base of the TransAmerica building downtown. Watched the Bedlam Rovers play. It sprinkled, we were all afraid of being electrocuted, but sat on the edge of a construction dumpster, had another pull on the bottle, and stayed. Had to put the bottle in her boot due to police presence. She wore one boot most of the afternoon. On the way home, we went up Powell St and ran up to people coming out of places like the Westin St. Francis, asked to see their green, then pinched them regardless, and ran. I’m part Irish. I had potato duty. I did something disrespectful with a potato at the door of a Catholic Church. We covered all the bases that day. 🙂🙃

For a moment there I thought you might have gotten the actual real Mister Hawk to guest star in your skit. You never can know what popular person likes what and is willing to make an appearance in something.
