M&D took my brothers and me to this and the KC zoo in the early 70s. It's nice to see the St. Lu train is still running and well maintained.
A lot of those gates aren’t long enough. It’s an accident waiting to happen. I’ve been there myself.
I know right? I'm surprised that they would pass safety inspections.
They need to slow down the train and make sure the gates are long enough and that they go up when the train has cleared the grade

First . The gates close to late . Second. The gates open too early.
The first train was fast
The trains always speed up at that point
