The Battlehawks and Stallions are neck and neck for best team in my opinion, both have destructive defenses, a great passing game, a great rushing game, and brilliant head coaches, they are the guaranteed championship game no doubt

@JamesHardy-yi1ph easily one of the top4 WRs in football today. And I'm not a Bengals fan. Porter is just a good DB. But that's the only modern day comparison I could think of, that has a similar build.

You can tell this is a rivalry, St Louis has a high powered offense, and a very good defense. Man believe me St Louis vs Birmingham is going to a classic. I wasn't expecting this score at all.

@@waynetompkins3006 I think Birmingham has >10k fans at their games I think the city would be a tough sell. So many people in st louis have adopted other franchises especially the Chiefs (modern Cowboys), it'd be another tough sell to fans here in St. Louis

@Skorczman13 For an NFL team? Of course the fans would come. IDK if Birmingham has an NFL-ready stadium, but St. Louis does. The BattleHawks would have to be sold to new owners unless Dwayne Johnson still wants it, but otherwise it's plug and play.

Birmingham was the only team that started out being strong from the beginning... St. Luis started out okay against a tough Michigan team and barely lost by a field goal in the last second.. however, they seem stronger every week!

Idk if the UFL has the same tie breakers as the XFL, but as a Hawks fan I don't want to see another ending like last year. I get your point when it comes to viewership (and good sportsmanship in general), but if the league promotes things like this with bad tie breakers. Then let's blow out every team.

@@silasmn2 I have thought since 2020 that the spring leagues would only catch on if the cities embraced the teams before the season even started. Battlehawks had a fanbase before they even took a snap. No way the league is going to "build" a fanbase in memphis from what I saw today. Maybe St. Louis fans are just there out of spite but its also just a fun time I wish more of these cities would embrace the action.

STL should have been in the playoffs last year, so they probably been waiting a while to put their foot in DC's behinds. That's what this looked like today.

Battlehawks almost looked invincible today. Defense won the game for them. Set up offense for good scoring opportunities all day. Need to clean up 15 yard penalties. Go Battlehawks!

St. Louis has not had a football team this exciting since the Rams under Kurt Warner. This was a fairly close game most of the way and the DC Defenders a good rival. First time beating the DC Defenders.

Dismantled em bad, and DC got lucky it should have been a couple more TDS in that lead. That eventually turned into FGs instead.

he's never been good. Dc was only good last year cuz of run game and defense he sucks if he's asked to do too much. Reminds me how Birmingham with a great defense and run game is hiding corral and martinez since they are liabilities drop back throwing unless it's a set up screen or play action. yep. you got guys running at you full speed. deciding to slide .5 seconds before they tackle you doesn't stop their momentum. And if they don't fully commit to tackling you in order to make sure they can stop in time, then you can just not slide and instead drop your shoulder or juke them. it's a pretty bs move. Karma caught up to him real quick though

Disappointing loss. Offense needs to get better from Coach Kaiss to the players. All position groups on Offense contributed to this embarrassing loss. Holds, dropped passes, inaccurate passes and missed reads, fumbles, and missed blocks, multiple interceptions. The Defenders cannot seriously contend for the UFL chip, if they play like this. This is a "mirror moment" for DC. Hope for better effort, play calling, and execution from the Defenders' Offense next week. 🛡️🛡️ up! On to the next one...

I think more people would watch & come to the games if they constantly show you visual of the players stating what college, NFL, Afl, IFl, etc...just the affiliation give people reason to watch. It just gives the viewer a chance to feel more personal with the players. So that people can know who their watching, other than just hearing who you're watching.
