Your blessing Father. I am Brazilian and I made my consecration to Jesus through Saint Joseph, with this magnificent book. Here in Brazil, many people are consecrating themselves to Saint Joseph. I believe we are in "times" in which his intercession is fundamental.

Thank you Father Don for discussing about the importance of the role of St. Joseph. This is the work of the Holy Spirit. This present generation needs A rold model for a Strong virtuos Head of the family and that is in the person of St. Joseph. Thank you Father Galloway, it was you who first taught me the full Rosary during the Saint Joseph year. After that, you got me to recite the Saint Joseph prayer, I didn’t realized then, that was the consecration prayer. My husband name is Giuseppe in Italian it mean Joseph. It was a consecration to Mary in Feb 2022 followed by a consecration to St Joseph that same year (a total 1-2 punch) that helped me make great strides in my breaking out of porn. So much has happened since then, so many miracles, I cannot list it all here but these 2 Saints have been the reason for me being a very different person today than I was 2 years ago and I had tried everything under the sun in the 10 years preceding 2022. Nothing ever worked. Hail Mary & Hail Joseph, Terrors of demons.

Oh my gosh. Thanks be to God that finally somebody and especially a priest, is addressing this issue of the demasculation of our men! Since the 1970s, I have been begging men to open their eyes and see the message of the sitcoms and the commercials. They all laughed at me, including my ex-husband. They all said it was just a show, but I continued to tell them they were taking away the traditional masculinity, and what will happen to our sons and our grandsons? But no one listened, and so I praise God that finally , a Priest is speaking out about this and pointing to St. JOSEPH!

Thanks Fr Luke and Fr Donald. Great Conversation. Just preparing myself for Walking to Knock starting from Belfast on Wednesday with a group of 60 people, finishing on Sunday for 3pm mass. Also there will be groups of people walking at the same time from Dublin, Derry & Cork. Showing a physical symbol of catholic faith, to break open the roads of Ireland in scripture, prayer, fasting & daily mass with the intention of breaking the chains of sin for Gods people in Ireland and the World, that they be no longer shackled from doing the lords will. This Conservation has provided even more fuel for completing this pilgrimage. thanks godbless

Fr. Callaway, I believe that it was you through the Holy Spirit who prompted the pope to have a year of St. Joseph. I love St. Joseph very much and I pray to him everyday. He told me in a dream that he is protecting my house. I was visiting with my daughter a few years ago in Oakland, California and I went to Mass on Sunday. I saw the tabernacle placed far away from the alter on the left side which disturbed me very much. I talked to the pastor and told him that this is God’s house and He is supposed to be in the center of His house and not on the side. I saw the same thing in two other churches in Oakland and again I told the same thing to the pastors. Pope Francis was making a point of the tabernacle being placed at the back of the alter at the time. After a year or so I went back to those churches and the tabernacles were placed in the center behind the tabernacle. I was shocked. So what I’m trying to say is that, as you know, it is the Holy Spirit who works through us. Praise be to God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen! ✝️✝️✝️🙏

In 1976 when I was in College I told a group of ladies spouting Women's Liberation at it's so called goodness. I told them that if you want Women to be liberated you need to imitate the virtues of the Blessed Virgin Mary. I got screamed at. I shook the dust off my feet. Let's pray for men and women both. It's what we have to do to save the family and the Church.

Back in my day the Father had a very small role in the family. The Mother took care of the house and children and Father worked. Don't bother your father, he 'working' he's 'reading, 'he's resting... When something was needed in the house the mother called the plumber or carpenter. The father was there but very absent. When we went away during the summer my father drove us to the shore or the country and then went home and came back and picked us up a few weeks later..

In my family, mum did most of the day to day stuff but dad was definitely the head of the house. He had the authority. “Wait till your father gets home” was a threat I recall hearing. When he was called in to discipline us it was serious. Lovely memories of dad reading to us when we had blackouts, taking us on Sunday drives, and we all went to Sunday Mass together. I recall praying the family rosary when younger. I always thought of Dad as the breadwinner- even though mum also worked in the family shop, she was the ‘housewife.’ Dad was naturally quiet and modelled humility, compassion for the poor, social justice, and great respect for mum. We all knew without doubt that he loved us. He lived a highly virtuous life and had good morals. He wasn’t perfect and had a challenge with anger which he did eventually overcome. So blessed to have had such a positive role model as my father.

At our parish, we do not have short lines at confession time. The lines are quite long and they’re not all old ladies like myself. There are quite a few young people, and I believe the answer is that our Hispanic population is very large, maybe 60 or 70%. The Hispanic dads live at home with their wives and kids, just as my dad did; just as my brothers are doing.

you are exactly who need consecration to Saint Joseph..because as a single you have a lot to offer which is your chastity just like Saint Joseph..you can actually offer your chastity and purity for conversion of sinner, for more vocation of priest and nuns and for holy souls in purgatory..you are the perfect gift and match for consecration to St. Joseph.

Actually, Fr. Calloway, we don’t have men or women anymore!!! Now everything is TRANS… I guess that’s a whole different thing… it’s not man nor woman!!! So it appears to me that Satan / The Father of Lies is trying to mock Jesus/ Joseph ( Men) and Our Beautiful Lady ( Women) …. It’s so DISTURBING!!! We have to keep Praying because it’s getting so bad now!!!

Saint Joseph was never celebrated or written about in scripture because the Fathers wanted to make sure that Jesus was 'the son of God' and NOT the 'son of Joseph'. To reduce or eliminate confusion they just never mentioned Joseph. Later on the church celebrated the Holy Family to teach the importance of Family and allow people to become more familiar with Joseph and Mary. When i was a kid the Holy Family was mentioned often but i never hear the church mention it anymore.

Not true. Jesus is also called "the carpenter's son" in the Gospel of Matthew 13:55. Our Lord grew up in a family with a real human father and mother!

Love the message but am concerned about the scapegoating and stereotyping of men. There are a lot of good Catholic and Christian fathers and husbands out there who are imitating St. Joseph and Jesus. In case you haven’t noticed, wives and mothers of 20, 30, 40 years are divorcing and abandoning their good Catholic husbands in droves and their Priests mostly are supporting them. Please address this before stereotyping men. And what pornography is to men, the “new age” and occult are to woman. Yes, even Catholic woman.
