Somehow, it came through that you are Canadian. Voice perhaps. Some of us like to know. I am retired living in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Interesting career you had. In Lightfoot's ballad, "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" the lyrics that haunt me the most are, "When suppertime came, the old cook came on deck sayin'. Fellas, it's too rough to feed ya. At Seven P.M. a main hatchway caved in, he said Fellas, it's been good t'know ya." I think of the important role a ship's cook played in maintaining morale as a provider of warm food and supportive words. The Eddie Fitz went down just 18 miles out from the Soo. With home port of New Orleans you must have seen some awesome performers. I am playing guitar and bass with friends. Have been working on my round neck resonator skills. Current song goal: Rollin' and Tumblin'. Your comfort in playing comes out in spades, so smooth and complimentary with your singing. Keep on Keepin' on Don. Rob

@@robbob235 Wow Rob so nice of you to share of yourself. I just retired last year and can finally spend my life just playing music every day, I just want to be a good player it has been my life goal. The best investment in my career I ever made was to buy my National Steel guitar. I have owned over the years a ton of copies of resonator steel guitar , and they were like toys compared to a real. National Steel They are pricy but well worth it.I have a brother that lives in the Sault I might get up that way sometime and who knows we might play music together .Thank you for listening
