Die Beiden singen mit so einem tiefen Gefühl und einer Aussagekraft, das ist der Hammer, wo manch ein bekannter Künstler sich strecken muss, da mitzuhalten. BRAVI!!!

What a voices. perfect expression.
Der Begriff „Empfindsamkeit“ hat hier seine wahre Dimension erreicht. Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, dieses Werk jemals so schön interpretiert gehört zu haben. Die Verzierungen in den Singstimmen sind wahrhaft meisterlich. Vielen Dank für diese Interpretation!

Eine wirklich hervorragende Interpretation, nur schade, dass in unserer heutigen Zeit das Wertvolle immer mehr verloren geht. Klassik sollte mindestens vier Wochenstunden im Lehrplan einnehmen.

So etwas passiert, wenn man von Passion für Musik geleitet wird, anstelle grandioser Selbstbeweihräucherung und Selbstdarstellung. Schauen Sie sich all die hochkarätigen Sopranistinnen an, die einen Moment des intimen mütterlichen Schmerz mit aufgeplustertem Ausschnitt und Glitzerkleid singen.

I was on board at the beginning of Alois's career, when he was a chubby lil 12 year old. Very busy lad. And I do mean busy. He was always in demand. And still is. He never disappoints. He always brings his best.
Absolutely brilliant voices. Alois continues to amaze me - no words. And what a talent Christian Ziemski is.

Qué belleza, maravillosas voces las de estos jovenes; el chico soprano tiene un timbre soberbio, pero el joven contratenor no se queda atrás, su voz es delicada y dulce, sin estridencias. Bravoooooo!!!

I have listened to so many other versions of this but always come back to this one. It is just superb, just the most exquisite, simply the best.. Christian's voice has a wonderful clarity and expression, he sings with such feeling despite his youth. I bought the CD and it has nearly worn out, I just can't stop listening to this sublime music. Thank you so much to all involved.

I was recommended to an awarding winning recording made years ago by Dennis Naseband boy soprano with the Tölzers and Jochen Kowalski Alto, which is superb, but having now heard this brilliant recording, to my ears these are the best two recordings. I can’t choose between them. Well done to the lads.

The beauty of this master pieces rests not only in the wonder of the fantastic music, almost written by God, but also in the interpretation of the text done by these two fantastic actors, besides of being extraordinary singers. You can see the angels telling you the narration of the events.

Alois was a legend since the age of twelve. When he first sung Pie Jesu. No one can even come close to his rendition...

No they don't. Jarousski and Emöke Baráth conducted by Stutzmann is superb. Different voice colours obviously. Different emotion evoked. The work is fabulous and lends itself to different interpretations. These lad are magic too.

I am not sure whether these two young musicians are fully aware of the significance of their amazing achievement. I am revisiting this recording after a year. I am still amazed at and stunned by the level of artistry. I am quite certain that if Maestro Pergolesi could have listened to this performance he would be delighted.
