Anchor or spot lock. Drifting won’t allow this to work properly, and you’ll be dodging boats that are anchored 😅.

Thanks for the feedback good noodle Cherry period. Can you give me a general idea of where you do this in the river thank and. Does it work night and day?

It’s a night time method. During the day they are deeper and feeding on the bottom. Honestly during the spring and fall you can find them anywhere from 18-26 feet along the break line. I’d look for boats or docks to fish outside of

Heading to Port Huron next week. Will that early September time frame work with this setup?

Things will heat up a little more in October. But you can still pick some off anytime jigging, and bottom bouncing! Don’t be afraid to fish deep!

1/8 ounce jig and twister tail at night during the Mid May through June you will crush them from shore!

The whipping discussion couldn’t be more incorrect.

Certainly better ways to do it, and ways to be better. But for someone going out their first time without “whipping gear” I’d say it’s accurate.
