This man is still asleep awaiting a possible resurrection! 1 Cor 15 is clear that the heavanly resurrection BEGINS at the 'Last trump' when Christ shall return! Anyway why pray to one who was excomunicated 5 times! And had a reputation for hate, controversy, ambition e.t.c. Though we are told to only pray to the Father through Christ. This man would be the LAST person I would 'pray to' if God sanctioned such behaviour! Read impartial history of this man! He acted in a very unchristian way, appart from his views which I dont agree with anyway!

@@timt6510 Admitted, the story is not corroborated, even though it became a popular subject for ikons, but it is still a good story!

I am estranged from my family because I refuse to consider the man my brother lives with his wife. That way of thinking would dishonor the woman who bore and has helped me raise 3 children. Ideas have consequences. Thank you, Father, for reminding us of that important fact.

All through Love...which means we must admonish the sin but love the sinner...keep strong, you are a caring husband, father, brother, son. More Catholic Christians need to understand that to love does not mean to ignore and watch a loved ones soul be endangered. Our Lady will strengthen, clarify your words, give you peace. Entrust your brother and his partner to Her. She loves them both more than any creature on earth can. I will pray for you and your extended family. As we all know, Jesus told us He would bring emnity between us and our loved ones...unite your broken heart for your brother to His Sacred Heart. Jesus I trust in You. 🙏 God bless you.
