2 reasons why baby could never become a ssj4 in vegetas body 1. He was a parasite and basically infected Vegetas biology and so Vegeta wasn't a pure blooded saiyan at the time 2. Since Vegetas body grew, it made baby matured into an adult body he couldn't achieved the form, hence when his tail was cut off, he could no longer stay inside Vegetas body and was expelled because he already had an adult body, meaning he has matured and can no longer invade bodies that weren't giants.

But he took over them when they were already super saiyans . Because he could get pushed out like against Trunks with a sudden increase of power if he took over in base . And he can't turn ssj4 either way because Vegeta hasn't unlocked it yet , for that Vegeta would need to conquer the rage , which he can't as long as Baby is simply blocking his conscious mind himself .

Would you consider reacting to a dragon ball fan series I know? It’s called Goten Black and it’s made by the KZreadr Generation Defenders. It’s an incredibly well written and well drawn story(the first couple chapter’s art style looks a bit iffy but by chapter 4 it looks borderline professional) that could really use some attention by having a major db reactor like yourself watch and review it!

For reason baby didn’t go super sane for it because he’s a tough or not saying even though he’s using the GR he’s his blood is truffle

I almost had a stroke trying to read this but the reason he didn't go ssj4 because Vegeta is not in control of himself. Goku turned ssj4 because he gained control of himself in the golden ape form. Vegeta is not conscious so Baby is just a parasite piloting a rampaging great ape. So if it was Vegeta the whole time without Baby parasitically controlling his body he would have immediately gone ssj4 because we know he can already control himself in it from the Saiyan Saga. So if Baby hopped out of Vegeta's body right now and Vegeta regained his own consciousness while still in ape form he would have gone ssj4 right then and there

​@@ssickhead1Not instantly , Vegeta used to have control of regular ozaru not golden ozaru and even that was decades ago , he himself expresses his doubts when Bulma later develops the blutz waves machine telling him he can become ssj4 , and he did go out of control for a bit , but still it shows that he used to be way ahead of Goku in this regard so still is and gains back control relatively quicker than him then turns into golden ozaru and ssj4 in a few seconds . Vegeta consistently shows the strongest mental fortitude.

@@humanman9920 Vegeta started rampaging as the regular coloured Great Ape. And he started turning gold after he started speaking in that form. I always just took it that he intentionally let himself go for a little bit just like Baby did here.

Not really his body was in immense pain after the 10x kamehameha Baby was just able to somehow ignore it for a bit in the next episode he falls before he can do the next attack to finish Goku . So they were both pretty much tied here .
