@@holtender1029 It's as they said in the video, everyone else's skins are bright colours whereas Ravs' is really dark, so he blends into more maps more often Mixed in with some intentional hiding that no one else really tries to pull off and he seems god like

a way for traitors to "exorcise" phantoms could be cool, like one traitor has to do it to their haunted teammate could be interesting

That NFT round was closer to a podcast than a TTT round, and I loved it

Fun fact: blockchains are intentionally as inefficient as possible, in order to make them unhackable not based on any legitimate security, but based on how annoying they are to alter. As a side effect of said intentional inefficiency, however, it takes a massive amount of energy to maintain a blockchain. As a result, in the short time that NFTs have been scamming morons out of their money, they have also undone all of the benefits from green energy.

Lewis being the glitch in that Master of Stealth round really made it easier for Ravs to creep up on him hahaha Ravs played so well that round it was amazing! Sad he missed Zylus that second time, it would have been amazing, especially since Zylus was starting to talk shit again, just like first time he got batted haha

I think that's exactly how Zylus caught him. A couple seconds into his shit-talking, he probably remembered what happened last time and thought, "Wait, he's right behind me isn't he?"

Classic long con Zylus plays. And the play at the end would've been great, if he didn't killed the Phantom earlier.

I enjoyed the 10 minute podcast about NFTs

The thing I'll always remember about NFTs is that if you understand what an NFT *actually* is, you shouldn't care about people just saving the image. The fact that so many people who buy NFTs DO care about it is therefore hilarious.

@@jacobcothran9961 its a randomly generated code developed by using complex math that is hard to decipher, then hooked up to a link generator. If you own the NFT, you can use the code to get the link to a JPG or the original source webpage of the image that NFT represents. That code is stored on basically a super complex intranet that tracks who has what and checks it with a dozen or so other machines. What it isn't is a code to actually generate the image, which is what they sell themselves as. Edit: this simplification cuts out how complex the system actually is and as such how it uses the yearly energy generation of a small country to make one in less than 2 months.

@@jacobcothran9961 In a nutshell, they're a _very_ hard to fake way to track who owns the "original" of a given digital thing. This could theoretically be used to, for example, make tracking down the person who owns the rights to a given image or video clip very easy, as well as facilitating the transfer of those rights in a very neat package. What a lot of people who make fun of NFTs often see it as is that you own the _only copy_ of a given thing (like how there is only one 'original' Mona Lisa painting), which is patently false for anything digital. Heck, even moving it to a different hard drive involves briefly duplicating it. It's unfortunate that the Etherium blockchain is often used due to its PoW algorithm being very bad for the environment, but that doesn't have anything to do with the NFTs themselves.

@@awareqwx Yes, what an NFT is is the reciept for a purchase. You can now prove that you have bought this token that allows you access to this image. What is literally not being sold at any point is the artwork itself. And this is extremely important, because NFTs are already being sold using stolen art. In fact, you could, completely legally, sell an NFT of the same artwork that has already been sold as an NFT, because the receipt youre selling is different. Also of course we make fun of people only getting a copy of the image, people who buy NFTs think thats what theyve bought.

(really didn't help that it was a hidden roles round when it happened, too, but at least the endgame card did show his role as generic innocent)

So if you were the paramedic, what’s stopping you from just killing the detective, bringing them back as a detective, and instantly proving to everyone you’re innocent? So, settings were added to the custom roles mod to prevent this. The one the Yogs have enabled, is when the paramedic revives the detective, instead of bringing them back, it changes them to an innocent and then revives them. There is also a setting for the hypnotist to bring the detective back as a promoted impersonator, which does a similar thing.

good to know the yogs are anti-NFTs, proud right-clickers

Ravs not even checking Lewis' body and killing himself instead was so dumb, especially since Duncan's all "Yup it's there I can see it" while Ravs was still alive hahaha

Why would you need to? You can just download the video itself...? There's tons of youtube video downloaders available.

That last round was one of the few times where they actually started to try and deduce who's what. And then Captain Fumblemore forgot how the Phantom works.

Eventually, you will have an Indian playing your NFT mobile game while you're sleeping, getting half of the rewards while you keep the other half. That Indian will make more money than at their day job. Then they will stake that coin in game to get crazy yields like a Pokemon savings account. And by eventually, I mean Axie Infinity is basically already doing it.

NFTs, I don't know who thought of it but whoever did has caused millions of dollars for people who spend it all on some stupid jpeg images you can find off google or even bing. Like what is the real use of an NFT other than using it as a fancy profile pic and what will happen to that NFT says the internet suddenly is killed or basically cut off for life? There is no real use for them other than people using them as a fancy pic for their profiles and once the internet one day goes down forever, all the money you put in that NFT is just BOOM gone like the wind. NFTs are just the biggest waste of money scheme every, sure, for now, they seem good to buy and sell but eventually depending if more and more people are willing to spend the money needed to get one to "try" and sell one, I say it won't last long but only time can tell.

I agree. Especially when you then think about the fact that you can pay an artist to make an image for you and buy the rights to that image off of them, or make it yourself, which makes it illegal for others to use the image, without your permission, for less than some of the NFTs out there.
