Took the RR out for a quick spin…, love this ssd chassis! It’s a little loud but a blast to drive. I pushed the car a little too much.., rolled 3 times; a couple not too gently either. Missing plate holder, door fell over, almost broke off hood, driver and seat knocked loose, accessories everywhere and most of the scale hubs were next to falling off.
New Range Rover in the fleet! Got a good deal on a well used rover.., thanks Mr. Joe M! Have had it for a while, thinking id throw it on the ssd trailking; (the Willys got de-chassified;). Ta-daaaa ;). Finally got it done... decided to do a skate themed truck. Some of these older builds I don't go too crazy on the interiors (though its +70ish percentage.., due to the condition and too many missing parts etc. I haven't done an engine bay either, though there's a true north rc ford engine sitting in place; nothing else is done.
The Rover is a large body.., larger than most other hardbodies in my opinion; and heavy. Have it sitting real nice and low.
GCMracing 1.55-1.7 beadlocks with 1.7 rc4wd falkens.

Excellent all around, including the music! (I never compliment music in videos...) Can I ask you about the Trail King transmission? I've been eyeing it for use in a scratch-built-chassis, showroom-stock type of build (think Class Negative 1) and haven't heard anyone talk about the performance and noise of the plastic-bodied, Trail King version of SSD's trans.

Thanks brother.., really appreciate it! Ya., I find mine a bit loud compared to the metal gcm trans. My buddy says the same thing about his; he wouldn’t have abused his a whole lot. Mine came used and could be a bearing/ rust/ water issue.., I never took the trans apart. But it’s a great trans.., I really doubt that it’s an issue with the trans; and wouldn’t have a problem recommending it. Tho I’d get the gcm for the weight if given the option; unless going to a lite-weight build maybe Cheers Lance

Too kind brother.., I slow the video down in post to get that soft movement look. Also next to no oil in the shocks; which dampens performance but looks good in video;)
