I've been watching Mekk's streams for a while now and - even though Mang0 is a long-time top 5 fav player of mine - KNEW that Mekk could take this game. After his Lucky match, I was ready to never watch him again. I like the Wizzys rather than the Westballzs. Started watching Mekk, and he has become one of my top 5 players. This set was great proof that he is almost there. If I had to put $500 on the line, I'd guess he is going to reach Slug-level success, but with Ganon.

just in the first stock there were like 3 or 4 moments that almost every bird wouldve been clipped by and got gannoned on, mango too clean. no disrespect to mekk he's nasty

I dont remember what caster said it but having mained gannon for like 6 months he really is a put the fear of god in you character edit: also just add a note for the matchup you do get your jump after down b but for some reason if you get hit out of the animation by falco laser you can only upb after even if you didn't jump before

Mekk is famous for doing pushups after a set. He was off-cam this time, but if you look at any other video with him in it, you'll see.

Kinda annoying to hear the hard read dair suicide referred to as a "flub". Mang0 was clearly looking to end the match with a flourish or simply didn't give a fuck knowing he still had another game to play with.

He’s not struggling. He’s just back to his post-peak level. Yoshi is simply too flawed to consistently win stacked majors and supermajors over time. His rivals renewed their labbing of the matchup and now there’s little amsa can do about it except play at his very best and hope they have an off day.

I love watching mang but is it just me or does he get the most lucky af brackets since Tipped Off 😅? Besides beating aMSa i can't really remember anyone who wasn't a Fox main that cleaned up for him and has a horrible h2h against him. Mekk didnt place top 8 at a major last year with Falcon. His best placement was 9th, which he got at this tournament. His placements havent changed changing to a much worse character - in theory hes raising his floor much higher.
