SsangYong Tivoli Facelift Review 2023 | Is It Any Good? (UK) (4K) Carcode

#SsangYong #Tivoli #SUV
The SsangYong Tivoli is the Korean brand’s smallest and most successful SUV (in Europe) Being out since 2015 it had a light facelift in 2019 and this is the latest facelift released this year.
With many small SUVs on the market the competition is stronger than ever, the Tivoli stands at the more budget end, being priced similarly to the MG ZS, Kia Stonic and SEAT Arona. In this video I reviewed the top of the range Ultimate Nav model with the automatic gearbox.
Thanks for watching! A massive thank you to SMMT for having me.

It’s really good to see that Ssangyong are still in the market and turning out a reasonably decent selection of vehicles. A little while back it really looked doubtful if they’d be able to keep going but I’m pleased they are still with us - they offer a lot of car and equipment for the money and that’s becoming a rare thing these days. I also like the new face on this Tivoli, it looks a whole lot better than it used to!! Hats off to Ssangyong for letting you borrow it Sam for the review 😊 Lol this also reminded me of someone I used to work with who bought a brand new Rodius back when nobody had heard of Ssangyong….. being kind I would say it was an interesting car 🤣 they loved it but it was genuinely the only car I’ve ever been mortified to travel in 🙈🙈😁

Thanks for watching! Yes that’s right “budget” brands are not so budget anymore. The guys at SsangYong have been great with me, really encouraging, which was lovely. To be honest I think most people still haven’t heard of SsangYong, and I can imagine haah, they have come a long way in terms of design since those days! I see SsangYong sort of as the new Mitsubishi for the UK market, they are known for the pickups and large 4X4s but are starting to branch out into passenger cars.

@@Carcode That’s so true they do make some excellent 4x4s. When my parents bought their Outback down in Barnoldswick the dealer also sold Ssangyong. While we were there I sat in a Rexton they had in the showroom - it was really well put together and the quality was way better than I expected it to be. You’re right too they could pickup sales left by Mitsubishi, Rexton for Shogun, Musso for L200, Tivoli and Korando for ASX etc. They make comparable products that suit Country people well, those who need no nonsense vehicles that just work and have decent aftercare - exactly the same market who mostly bought Mitsubishi… Really pleased to hear they looked after you too - It says a lot when a manufacturer takes time and puts the effort into promoting their products to the press, usually means they’ll look after customers too as they are serious about growing the brand 👍🏻🙂 lol just no more Rodius’ please Ssangyong 😂

Until recently they had a 7 year warranty, the best in the business was their claim, now it's 5 years, your forced to the conclusion that after year 5 there is the very real prospect of expensive repairs, I would go with a manufacturer that still offers 7 years, Suzuki and Kia, not to mention Toyota 10 years.
