landrover, range rover, are great looking machines, drive and handle well,reliabilty is absolute crap. in australia a mechanics nightmare, canot figure out why they are bad in reliability.cheers

Thank you for the nice review. We have it here in Baghdad, Iraq, but not the 2.2 diesel, the petrol one with 2 litre and turbo. I am now waiting for the dealer to call me to go and get it 👍. I loved it from the first instance ❤

I bought a new ssangyong rexton plus and it's a cracking car ! A long distant hauler ! Been on snow covered roads and lanes in the lake District recently and it was brilliant with the 4 wheel drive system . I had a jaguar f pace and weighed it in to get the rexton and hasn't disappointed ok doesn't drive like a Jag but it's just got something about it and with the 150,000 mile warranty or 7 years ssangyong want you to drive it not to just do the school run ! Mine is pampered,washed coated it looks good to ! Great vid you are very honest about it all which is good ! Thanks Paul 👍

We don't get the Fortuner in the UK so I'm not the person to ask.

Dude.. i love the car.. just need to know one more thing, can you check if there is smoke when accelerating.. specially during night if is more obvious

It's not my car, it's a Press car, in the week I did have one there were no smoke issues but it had 500 miles on the odometer

In our family, we buy BMWs, Mercedes for years...few years back, uncle bought Korando, year later bought one my brother and now I am looking at Rexton in black with white leather. I was absolutely surprised how great that car is for that price ! I boy I love that oldschool body on frame style! Def gonna buy one. Id say its closest thing to american SUVs but for Europe. I have budget for Range Rover or 4yr old MB GLS but I can not justify overpaying that much when this car has it all what I need. I drive companys MB GLS 2017 sometimes, and the interior quality is def on par with Rexton! I went to dealer yesterday and made direct comparison - white leather vs white leather etc... I was amazed even more

I think it's unacceptable that people can be snobby towards a marque that, when translated, means Double Dragon. However, I fear you may be correct.

Nice, no nonsense review, if a little too positive :-) I like the comment about the body on frame being 'something honest about it.' Other reviewers smash it as too bumpy. Depends on what you come from and expect really I guess? You piqued my interest to look at the Discovery but here in Oz, the comparison is even more ridiculous, like $60k v $150k for the Discovery.

Basically every new car is like that, especially as we come into euro 7 and it informs you every time you drive past a speed limit sign. I've worked out it was because I'd put something in the wireless charging try that wasn't a phone and it was giving me a charging error because of that
