thank you very much ,, im in vancouver canada ,, I have a chance to buy one here used can you steer me in a direction for qualification ,, do i just need an ultralite certificate , or recreational ? w floats rating ? thnx in adv Rob

In the US and Canada it requires at a minimum the Light Sport Certification for Airman to legally fly it and a Seaplane Endorsement for passenger carrying operations. Ultralight rating will not suffice, unfortunately.

What happened to check lists? Gear is not very excusable.
