So many countries, including Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Israel had no problems with letting a plane fly through and land at thier airports, and only my country (Russia) lives like the cold war is still on, what a shame. I hope one day we can change our contry and make it more hospitable and modern.

@George Washigton as long as you are a man from a country where Europeans are immigrated you are good. Because all these citizens can move among those countries without any issue...and other countries with the passport. The people from almost all Asian and African countries don't have that comfort. Even their intentions are good...no way an African / Asian can do this adventure.

@@santapm4042 I currently lives in Japan and Singapore(holding current passport) which both countries' passports give great access to many countries without or little visa issues. Your argument of "no way an African / Asian can do this adventure" is flawed. Please climb out of your hole soon. Welcome to the new world

Had the pleasure of listening to Michael talk at the Royal Aero Club in W.A. and bought the book!
How have I not heard of this man's story before?! Amazing. I get a bit of a pucker factor if I'm flight planning a trip of over 200 miles. Can't imagine how cool this must have been. And he's not even an IFR pilot! Love this dude.
This man's flew right past my house on the Mississippi 😳
Wow, what a superb endorsement for the magnificent Searey
So cool! I once flew a Hughes 300 helicopter from Sweden to England some years ago as a fresch private licence holder. It took me only a couple of days, but it was an adventure I will never forget, and I can only imagine what a ride this must have been around the whole planet! I have huge respect for this guy! Inspiring story and a great channel! Keep up the good work Stefan! // Greetings from a Swedish helicopter driver
That guy is so fooking cool. Great story and awesome video

Thanks for watching Anton, and I agree, he's a real aviation legend is Michael.
Mr. Smith seems like a warm, thoughtful man. I know without question we’d get along well. Thank you for bringing this journey to KZread that I would orherwise never have known about. Great interview!
This man should be recognized by the *whole world*
If you Google Henning Huffer you will find a guy who rounded the world 5 times with different GA Airplanes. He's the world record holder in the General Aviation. Last week I flew with him from Germany to Poland. Awesome guy. Looking forward for more flying with him. Greetings from Germany :)
Now THATS a trip, thanks for doing this interview Stef.
Inspirational! He makes it sound so easy but I can't imagine how hard it must have been to plan all of that!
Another great video, Stef. I have seen the film a few times now - including a showing at my local aeroclub, where Michael introduced it then answered questions and the end. A very inspiring story indeed. I will never forget the very sobering moment where he lost control in the cloud - trust your instruments!
Sea Ray should give this man some money that is absolutely incredible
What an incredible journey!!!! You can’t get better than that, many thanks for sharing Michael’s story Stefan

I highly recommend Michael's book. Really enjoyed it. It makes you even more impressed with his epic journey.
Absolutely amazing video (all of your videos are amazing!) Stefan keep up the good work
Awesome, when I was in my early twenties I use to have such a raging hard on for gyro copters, I designed about a dozen different designs and use to plot courses from Manitoba Canada to japan, so seeing someone actually doing this in a boat plane is absolutely amazing!!
Fantastic inspiring adventure
Absolutely stunning!
Fantastic video! I'm sure you'll glean plenty of information when it's time for you to embark on your round the world trip.
I will be seeking your movie and book Stefan. Great story!
What an amazing adventure and story! Congratulations 🎉 This video has inspired me to travel... for a walk around the block.

Dumping some fuel on that island for the journey to Japan then going back again, much be a desolate feeling! might have to pick up the book
That’s a great achievement. It must have been an exciting trip. Well done
Says a lot about This aircraft, what an adventure!
Inspiring, exceptional, awesome
Amazing story.
Great video, thanks Stef.
Great vid and thank you! Michael has long been an inspiration to me - with his cinematic adventures restoring the Sun Theatre and this wonderful circumnavigation. He is such an understated and unsung and worthy hero IMHO - just gets on with it with his modest calmness. I remember when I thought I'd had an epic adventure when I first flew from Bankstown to Camden and to Hoxton Park and back - something in the order of 40 - 50 kts total! As a new subscriber I'm looking forward to checking out and sharing your content. Job well done and thank you from Sydney, Oz - Dave
just hearing about the adventure got me so excited and mesmerizing
I met Michael in the UK after he had finished the first section of the trip at Damyns Hall. Amazing chap, I convinced him to use an emersion suit for the Atlantic leg. Great guy.
Brilliant to listen to this man so thanks for sharing this video...
Hell yeah bud congrats amazing 👏
After seeing this I bought the book and video. The book is a good read waiting for the video to arrive.

Just watched your video on your update on your around the world trip. Please don't beat yourself up. I don't have anything but excitement for you. You haven't let anyone down, all that are following you haven't set your timeline, we are here to enjoy your adventure as you take us with you. You are doing this for you and we are your guests on a trip around the world. Keep doing what you're doing, you're doing great and should be on TV with your own show, but that is later. Thank you Stefan. Best wishes Darran from Cardiff. I would one day like to get my ppl but for now until I sort my funds out I will enjoy your adventures. You should do trips in your plane with celebrities... That would be a winner.
Fantastic.

Great story, awesome video!

Congratulations, what a great story!
Lol first time flying into class charlie and he is going around the world! so cool!
That's epic! Like true epic!
Great video and interview.
Excellent videography. Superb lighting. Great use of a drone. Wonderful editing for the first half of the video. Sorely missing real footage of actual places in the second half of the video. Good job.
I don't think I've ever been more jealous of another person's adventure. LOL Good for him! I'm just starting my pilot's license journey. Bucket list has a circumnav trip on it.
AN EPIC JOURNEY
This is so awesome .
Incredible.
