Yum!! My parents are from there and I learned how to make Iddiyappams (string hoppers), parupuu (dhal), and fish curries! Will check out these street foods when I visit hopefully soon

Thank you kindly for this video, I really enjoyed watching you eat and I am keen to try these different foods.😊❤️👍🏼 My young daughter has made friends with a sweet young girl from Sri Lanka and they have been exchanging foods at school and trying each others meals and I really love that the kids do that, as Variety is the Spice of life. We are in Australia and I love cooking mainly Thai meals as they are so fresh and fragrant but I am a massive Fan of Indian, Cambodian and Italian cuisines and I will cook any dish or have a try at cooking them. 😊 I am excited to try some Sri lankan dishes now. 🙏🏼😉

Yes all Lankan regular foods, but Nellm just cooked up this 2-3 days amount of special dishes just for brunch only, delicious looking curries of beef, egg, lge shrimps, then fried onions, sambol, kiri rice, string hoppers, fluffy bread thats atleast 3 diff SL meals, all are my favorites too

Its a mixed of Bf foods in Sri Lanka. For example, we don't eat milk rice+breat at once. bread+string hoppers we do. Another thing is which part of Sri Lanka you live so foods will be different a little bit. I am from Negombo and sometimes we eat rice+dried fish+sambol+dhal curry+fried eggs for bf and someday we eat breat+meat curry ..etc..I know it will deferent from home to home also.

😋 I had to go get a snack 7 minutes in. Another great video. 👏🏼

This is not a traditional sri lankan home. But your friend is very traditional . She cooks sri lankan style foods like a pro. Looks very yummy.

Milk rice is always advised with kithul jaggery or honey or katta sambol or banana must be the chemical reactions it causes.
