It was a Srilankan contractor who gave the British engineers an idea how to make the nine arch bridge when they were completely clueless . Great video mate :)

Hi Federico. This was one of the first flights and I kept all settings on default and didn't use any filters. Obviously I am very lucky with my camera on the Mavic since I heard many complaints from other pilots regarding grain issues or less sharpness on the edges of the picture.

did you shoot with any camera presets? sharpness, saturation, contrast or everything stock?

Hi David. Since these were my first flights the settings were all stock. The long distance shots were much less colorful than the hiking or train scenes for some reason although I didn't change any settings. Didn't find out the reason yet. So I've put slightly more contrast and some color grading to the long distance shots but that's it. Realy suprised by the the quality of this small cam on the Mavic.

Dank dir Mend Ez! Da das erst der zweite Flug mit dem Mavic war, hab ich alle Einstellungen noch unberührt gelassen, also alles so wie er ausgeliefert wurde von DJI.

Thank you Mayoo. The first train shot is the nine arch bridge and the second one the Demodara loop. Both around 5-10km from Ella. Maybe you've seen the other white drone flying next to the bride. Was not the only one taking shots :)

Hi Mayoo. We went there with a rental motor bike. I would take a TukTuk in your case, think this is the best option. Enjoy your time in Sri Lanka!

Hey Dekel. Was this shot on 2016 December? Cause I remember some one bringing out a drone on Little Adam's peak while I was filming too. I also make cinematic videos mostly based on Sri Lanka Let me know if that was you!

Danke für die Info. Ich hatte auf eine andere Antwort gehofft, da mir Premiere Pro eigentlich zu teuer ist aber mal sehen. Da es mir bereits mehrere empfohlen haben, muss ich mal einen Blick drauf werfen. Viel Erfolg beim warm werden mit der Software ;)

Hi Julius. Vielen Dank. Du musst offiziell eine Genehmigung von der Civil Aviation Authority anfragen, die verweisen dich dann an einen Partner vor Ort, wo du dir das Dokument abholen kannst. Habe keinerlei negative Erfahrungen gemacht. Die Locals sind sehr interessiert an dem unbekannten Spielzeug, aber Touris sieht man einige dort fliegen. Waren auch noch 3 Phantoms an der Nine Arch Bridge, einen sieht man auch im Video bei 0:51.

Danke für deine Antwort! Den habe ich geschrieben, auch eine Antwort bekommen. Allerdings haben die mich dazu angewiesen dem Verteidigungsministerium wegen einer Security Approval zu schreiben..von denen bekomme ich keine Antwort.

Hallo, gehe diese Woche auch nach Sri Lanka habe das mit der Genehmigung allerdings zu spät erfahren. Meint ihr es ist möglich sich diese Genehmigung direkt vor Ort im CAA in Colombo zu holen ohne vorher eine E-Mail geschickt zu haben ? Liebe Grüße aus Stuttgart
