Problem with us Indian seculars is we are english medium upper caste urban elite. We rarely have friendships from the Sc,St,Bc strata. Even though we have they are very patronizing take the mic type. Meanwhile RSS is going into the tribal areas, getting culturally amalgamated with them by building temples for their subaltern deities. Now the question is are we seculars willing to step out of our comfort zones and find a way to participate in the lives of the non elite, non urban, non uc. All this english books and flaunting vocabulary can only land us to some good dates. On political front our impact is zero. Its high time we should form a cultural organization. But the trick is what is the counter-culture we disseminate as against to religious culture. May be science and education is one thing. I propose we seculars should take a task to go into villages, help kids with education, be it charity or teaching. We should form a unit who will be willing to sacrifice the typical urban cozy comfy life. Any thoughts?

I made a couple of such filmmakers help find work in the mainstream industry. This is just for starters. My plan is to make something like a series like cosmos in all vernacular languages and make kids fascinate with science. Goal is to make them intellectual property holders. We should all begin by translating, simplifying and spreading knowledge in local language. We should used Richard Feynman technique.
