ഇപ്പോൾ ആ കുട്ടി നാൽപതുകളിൽ എത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ടാകും... പത്രങ്ങളിൽ വായിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഏതാണ്ട് എന്റെ സമപ്രായം ആണ്... ജീവിതത്തിൽ എല്ലാ പെൺകുട്ടികളുക്കും മോശം അനുഭവങ്ങളെ നേരിടേണ്ടി വന്നിട്ടുണ്ടാകും. പക്ഷെ സ്ത്രീ സഹജമായ ബുദ്ധികൊണ്ടും ആരെയും കണ്ണടച്ചു വിശ്വസിക്കരുതെന്നുള്ള ബോധം ഉള്ളതുകൊണ്ടും മിക്കവരും രക്ഷപ്പെടുന്നതാണ്

How insightful is your statement about the human tendency to acquire and get possession of beautiful things Ma'am. It really got me thinking. Yes it is very same tendency to get the possession of things of beauty for one's own enjoyment which when carried to such immoderate and uncontrollable levels that such horrendous crimes occur. We have to inculcate the culture of appreciating beauty in its own natural and rightful settings rather than pay exorbitant prices and acquire and clutter up our homes with such things.This culture of consumerism has overtaken us to such an extent that to possess and enjoy things and even relationships seems to have become our ultimate aim in life. Truly a very disturbing trend which can be reversed at least partially by inculcating good values in children during their learning years when they are most receptive to ideas.

മാഡം ഇവിടെ പ്രതിക്കൂട്ടിൽ നിർത്തുന്നത് ആ പെൺകുട്ടിയുടെ സൗന്ദര്യം ആണെന്ന് തോന്നിപോകുന്നു. സൗന്ദര്യം കൂടിപ്പോയത് കൊണ്ടാണ് അവൾക്ക് ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു ദുർവിധി നേരിടേണ്ടി വന്നത് എന്നാണല്ലോ അർഥമാക്കുന്നത്. പക്ഷെ അതിൽ എനിക്ക് അൽപ്പം വിയോജിപ്പ് ഉണ്ടെന്ന് പറയുന്നതിൽ ക്ഷമിക്കണം. ആ കുട്ടിയോളമോ അതിനേക്കാൾ ഏറെയോ സൗന്ദര്യം ഉള്ള എത്ര കുട്ടികൾ ആ കോളേജിൽ തന്നെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നിരിക്കാം. അവർക്ക് എല്ലാം എന്തുകൊണ്ട് അത്തരം ഒരു അവസ്ഥ ഉണ്ടായില്ല. ആ കുട്ടിയുടെ സ്വഭാവ ദൂഷ്യം ആണ് അതിന് കാരണം എന്നല്ല ഞാൻ പറയുന്നത്. പക്ഷെ ആ കുട്ടിയുടെ മാനസികമായ പക്വത ഇല്ലായ്മയും പ്രതികരിക്കാൻ ഉള്ള ധൈര്യക്കുറവും ആ അധ്യാപകർ ചൂഷണം ചെയ്തത് ആവാം എന്ന് എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നു. അത്തരം weak minded ആയ പെൺകുട്ടികളെ, അവർക്ക് സൗന്ദര്യം കുറവ് ആണെങ്കിൽ കൂടി trap ഇൽ പെടുത്താൻ നോക്കിയിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ചെന്നായ കൂട്ടം നമ്മുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഉണ്ട് എന്ന് മനസിലാക്കണം.. ആ ദുഷ്ട സമൂഹത്തെ നേരിടാനുള്ള കരുത്ത് പകർന്നു കൊടുത്തു കൊണ്ടാവണം നമ്മുടെ പെൺകുട്ടികളെ വളർത്തി കൊണ്ട് വരേണ്ടത്..ഇത്തരം സംഭവങ്ങൾ ആവർത്തിക്കാതിരിക്കാൻ അതാണ് ഏറ്റവും പ്രധാനം എന്ന് ഞാൻ കരുതുന്നു..

പൊതുവായി ഈ പറഞ്ഞതെല്ലാം സത്യം തന്നെ.. എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ അന്വേഷിച്ച ഈ കേസിലെ കുട്ടിയുടെ സൗന്ദര്യം ഒരു പ്രശ്നം തന്നെയായിരുന്നു എന്നാണ് എനിക്കിപ്പോഴും തോന്നുന്നത്...!

ഇന്നത്തെ ജനറേഷൻ പെൺകുട്ടികൾ കൂടുതൽ കൂടുതൽ bold ആണ്. ചിലപ്പോഴൊക്കെ അങ്ങനെയാവുന്നത് നല്ലതാണ് എന്ന് തോന്നും.. ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള സംഭവങ്ങൾ കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ! 🙏🇮🇳

Ma'am, How did you gave the subtitle in English. Did you made your transcripts in English and added to captions or is there any short cut. I m a researcher and I had conducted my interviews in Malayalam. So I want to know is there a possibility in youtube to upload the audio recording and get the transcripts automatically. It would be great helpful if there is an option so that I can transcribe interviews in vernacular languages to English and save time in doing transcription of hours of interview.

മാഡം സംസാരിച്ചത് മുഴുവനും കേട്ടുകഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ തോന്നിയത് ആ പെൺകുട്ടിക്ക് തൻ്റെ എതിർപ്പ് പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കാൻ ഒന്നിലധികം അവസരങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അപ്പോഴെല്ലാം മൗനം പാലിച്ചാണ് പിന്നീട് വിനയായി മാറിയത്. പിന്നെ സൗന്ദര്യത്തിന് ക്രിത്യമായ ഒരു നിർവചനം ഉണ്ടോയെന്ന് അറിയില്ല. സൗന്ദര്യം ഒരു വെക്തിയ്ക്കും സ്വന്തമെന്ന് അവകാശപെടുവാൻ അർഹതയില്ല. കാരണം അത് ആപേക്ഷികമാണ്, അത് ജനിക്കുന്നത് ഈ വെക്തിയെ നോക്കി കാണുന്ന മറ്റൊരു വെക്തിയുടെ മനസ്സിൽ ആണ് എന്നതാണ്. അത് അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇല്ലാത്ത ഒരു അനുഭൂതി മാത്രം ആണ്. അതുകൊണ്ടാണ് ഒരു വസ്തുവിൽ എല്ലാപേർക്കും സൗന്ദര്യം കാണുവാൻ സാധിക്കാത്തത്.

Mam, you're a genuine female. I know about all those case from Pandalam college because my mother was then professor in that college. And i know who should have been convicted. You knows the exact reality and what happened after the political interference later. Your assumptions were correct at that time and what happened later political intervention. In police rarely but in judiciary only males can depend only female officers because only a woman could understand a female. Your primarily inference in Pandalam case was absolutely correct.

She was not a small girl when she was molested. She might have been trapped then.Here in Kerala literacy rate is high but incidents like this are happening here frequently.Ur positive talks may save girls from dangerous situations I hope so.👍👌

Yes, Sreelekhaji, that was a shocking incident. I remember it. Similarly, young girls get trafficked all the time all over the world. But a lot of women learn to use their beauty wisely to their advantage as well. I loved the analogy at the end of the story that reinforces humanity’s acquisitive nature.

I have been listening to you for the last few months and have found your talk quite inspiring and motivating. I generally find it hard to associate empathy with the police force , but since I started listening to how vulnerable you were within the force makes me question myself. Having said that, I have a constructive criticism to make. I have noticed you mentioning “veluthu sundariyaya” or “veluthu sandaran aaya kochu” in a few videos. As much as I appreciate that your intention was not to be politically incorrect, you shouldn’t ignore the fact that the world has evolved beyond that. Antony Paul, this an interesting thread you created. Kudos to you. I too had observed that Sreelekhaji has the proclivity to appreciate lighter skinned people. That is just a part of conditioning. There is no doubt that conditioning restricts expansive thought. But, has the world really evolved beyond that? A majority of humanity has established the standard of a lighter skin to be the default attribute to beauty. So what? An individualized approach can take that down. :)
