Thank you, that was a well thought out and put together presentation, I’ve just built a new Trek Madone, mostly on Sram Red, but I have used Rival shifters and brake callipers for two reasons, firstly it’s the only thing I could get 🤷‍♂️😊 and secondly the more I looked at them I actually came to prefer the less bulky size and shape of the rival shifter, I have small hands and it just feels nicer than Force or Red, and it looks nicer too, although I would prefer force or Red if Sram decide to update the groupset and make the shifters look and feel like rival! Plus it’s only about 16 grams heavier than Force so the shifters certainly make sense, I think it’s great that one can interchange and mix all of the groupset components 👍

Hi Mark, thanks for the feedback and I must admit the more bikes we have started to have come through the show with Rival on, the more the hoods are growing on me. I agree, the fact all the elements are interchangeable is a great selling point from SRAM, and RIVAL is making is working so well that it is getting harder and harder to justify the "need" for Force over Rival.
