We buy a couple of pumpkins each year for the squirrels. Sometimes we have to give them a head start by cutting a small hole. . Love it when they get their whole body inside leaving just their tail flipping outside. Thank you for sharing.

**You're right! It's so senseless to bicker over whether or not they are somehow trained or manipulated into this. Nope. But** what SHOULD bother everyone is the particular variety of pumpkin he used here. This is not the standard variety, it's a slightly different pumpkin strain that looks 99.9% identical. But who cares if it looks the same, getting the PROPER strain of pumpkin matters!! Lol

most likely the guy stuck some seeds or nuts in the areas he wanted the squirrel to carve. that's probably why the squirrel chased away the other squirrel. food
