Hemroids can certainly get better. I used to suffer from them often until I started taking a fiber supplement (psyllium fiber). It's been over 5 years and I haven't had a single one.

Speaking of hemorrhoids and squatting. The seated toilet is believed to contribute to the development of toilets, and that squatting toilets are much better for the expulsion of fecal matter. N=1 doesn't speak volumes, but I've started squatting while using the toilet and it much easier and pleasant experience.

Squats elevate blood pressure (temporarily). The elevated blood pressure will aggravate anything that is inflamed. I had an infected broken tooth a while back. It was especially unbearable after squats for a couple hours.

Here is what works for me. The one word solution is "stretch". Specifically, do the following several times a day. 1. Reach for the sky with your fingertips 2. Draw a semicircle in the air with your fingertips down to your toes with as large a radius as possible 3. Stand up and repeat for a dozen repetitions This will make them more itchy but, within around one day, the hemorrhoids will start to improve. I suspect this works because stretching causes the dilated blood vessels to burst so they can heal back correctly. This is similar to the way Rip recommends to fix golfer's elbow in another of his videos. In the case of golfer's elbow, doing regular sets of chins also stresses and breaks up the infirm tissue so it can heal back correctly. I hope this information will be useful to someone.

Rip: "do I look like a guy with hemorrhoids?" Me: Yep. In all seriousness, everybody has hemorrhoids. They're part of normal human anatomy and are thought to contribute to anal continence. The issue is that if the hemorrhoids become perpetually dilated and prolapse through the anal canal.

But how will you be stronger and drink gallon of milk a day to gain weight and to hit those heavy squats if you are loosing bodyweight??? Dont you see a problem there? I am just kidding. Your genes have the main part in this specific condition. But like with everything in life your diet has the other big part. Food you eat matters a lot. High protein diet with little far and without big amount of fiber is bad. You will shit bricks with that diet and that kind of diet is common in bodybuilding and strength treining. Fibers help and have high importance in high protein diets.

From the Mayo Clinic: Hemorrhoids can develop from increased pressure in the lower rectum due to: Straining during bowel movements. Therapeutic approach: eat lots of fruit and vegetables which will create softer stools and result in less straining during a bowel movement.
