Square's Overlooked JRPG Trilogy
Ойындар
In late 2021, Yoko Taro headed up development of a cute little project called "Voice of Cards," a low budget short story JRPG where everything is cards. Then the team made two more in the span of about a year, and now we have an intriguing little trilogy of quirky titles that really scratch that old school itch. So, I decided to talk about all of them in far more detail than anyone likely needs, because I really just have to make things difficult for myself. All I can say is... I sure hope all my videos don't take this long.

I don't think I would have had the time or patience to go through all three games, but the general stories and reviews were well with hearing. Great video again, glad I stuck around!

Thank ya kindly for doing so.
Jeez only 520 views, this vid is kinda underrated, especially because it seems like it took a while to make, still a nice vid^^.

Good to know you enjoyed it.
Just found this video, definitely saving it for a later watch. Loved the VoC Trilogy
I think I'll start using "I enjoy it to a great degree" in my day to day life

I'll enjoy that sentiment to a great degree.
Being reminded of Chivalry of a Failed Knight's state of english accessibility limbo despite how much more competent it may be compared to its competitors was not what I expected going into this video.

This might be a nonsensical take, but what I appreciated most about these games was their obscurity, in a way - these days it is genuinely so, so damn difficult to be able to go into a gam without having at least _some_ of its most meaningful moments spoiled ahead of time and these three little underperforming hidden gems genuinely managed to avoid that fate for me. Even the most straightforward game can feel fresh when you're afforded the opportunity to actually meet it on its own terms sometimes - appropriately enough, that experience brought me back to what it felt like playing the original Nier back around its original release.
Months of waiting and you did not disappoint, great reviews Hoodlie. I was quite interested in the first game but I wasn’t even aware of the 3rd. Looks absolutely like my kind of games, that sense of cozy chill gameplay with charming dialogue sounds intriguing Looking forward to the next one
