Squadron 42 Reaction | Kryz

In 2945, the brave men and women of the United Empire of Earth's Navy fight tirelessly to protect Humanity. While dangerous aliens like the Vanduul are a constant threat along the Empire's borders, outlaws and bandits often prove just as dangerous closer to home.

As someone who first backed Star Citizen back in 2014 one of the longest standing examples of fidelity and attention to detail was to look down the barrel of a gun and see the round in the chamber. CIG has also animated each round that enters the chamber of your gun and actually animated each round leaving the chamber along with the metal jacket. Even though none of the interior workings of the gun can be seen by the player. That's why I love this game and continue to support it because CIG has done such an amazing job at making the verse all about immersion.

I've never seen you before but I'm always happy to see people having their mind blown when they see the scale of this thing. It's only taking so long because the tech they need to make the dreams a reality, has had to be developed in-house. Industry leading stuff. See you in the verse o7

So happy to see you checking out the SC community. SQ42 has been a project I backed for a long time. So happy to see this update on tech cannot wait till release. Let’s go!!!!!

For me, as a long time backer of the game, it's funny to see you shaking your head in disbelief

Welcome (back) to the 'Verse. Always remember that one of the features of StarEngine are the seamless transitions (no loading screens). There will be no obvious transitions from space to planetside to landing zones when you embark on your missions. No transitions from ship to landing pads either. The difference with Starfield and S42 will be so apparently obvious, it won't even be an issue.

While an ardent supporter, I'm not one to sugar coat things. It's been a long, rather rough road. Dealing with Crytech trying to milk them, the persistent struggle to get their servers up to snuff, and being as transparent with development as they are has lead to a lot of backlash as well as head and heartaches.

I Held the Line since 2016. This will be an experience like no other. You should jump into SC today and see what it is like now. It is rewarding to jump back in every now and then to see how it evolves over time. That planet you will land on, for the boat mission is down there. You want your mind blown, all the alien languages were designed with translation, so if you wanted to learn what they said, you can translate it. They said, "I Rise, I Take, I Ascend", for they are a race of killers who integrate tech into their own and armour into their skin. There are more aliens in the game, some friendly and some humanity conquered who joined the UEE, and all have languages that can be translated.

I've backed star citizen for years now, concierge creeped up on me a while ago... I've experienced the ups and downs throughout my time in the Persistent Universe. With that said, this footage looks amazing... I can see why people are excited.... But me? Nah... I don't believe anything until they release squadron 42. That and the persistent universe, unless there's a official release and I'm playing and it's flawless... I can't be excited for it. But at same time I am. It's a weird love and hate relation with star citizen

I can't wait for you to see the engine (StarEngine) demo. That shows people what the engine can do and almost all of it is in Star Citizen, right now.

The insnae amount of detail is not only in sq42 but in Star citizen aswell for exemple on orizon you have a giant screen with ad for ships on screen you can zoom on the screen and seeing fucking pixels of the ingame screen thats how far they went

Funny watching people call this "Star Wars + Halo" when it's just the same style Chris used in his Wing Commander series so many years ago.
