Yup, it's what Brenna said above me. Sparx was voiced by David Spade in A New Beginning, by Billy West in The Eternal Night, and then by Wayne Brady in Dawn of the Dragon. It's a really clever 4th wall break and very fitting for the comedic relief character of the trilogy. 😊

This game series was really well done despite the original Spyro being changed a lot. i enjoyed the story line, the world designs, and the breathe abilities. I'm just sad the games weren't longer.

Looking back at old comments. I still reminisce about this series. Especially now with the Reignited Remake of the original trilogy, it brings a lot of hope that we will see more of Spyro outside of the Skylanders franchise. Who knows maybe they can return to this part of him in one shape or another. I would love to see what improvements to the gameplay, story, and dialogue that they could pull off especially with a larger company that is given more than 1-3 years to pull it all off.

Last one I played was Dawn of the Dragon. I was never interested in the Skylanders Games, plus they turned Spyro, from the growing young Adult in the Spyro Series, to this little gremlin in the Skylanders Series.

Just finished Dawn of the Dragon for the first time and I must say, I enjoyed this trilogy a lot. I don't think it's perfect by any means, it has it's flaws, but I love the new direction they decided to take Spyro. He's a dragon after all, an epic fantasy story fits him so well. I wish more people would step out of their nostalgia bubble and give it a chance. Same with the Skylanders games. Different doesn't always mean bad.

@@rickymoranjr9609 I agree. I absolutely loved this trilogy, it gave Spyro so much depth as a character and the world felt so lived in with its mentions of ancient lore and olden civilizations. Malefor is surprisingly great for a villain with his dark reflections of Spyro, and the Elder Dragons (especially Ignitus) were great supporting cast. My only complaints are that Sparx didn't actually get to affect the plot much and Cynder's character development could've been given a lot more room. But other than that, this was a joy for 12-year old me! ^-^

Yesss, I've made that comparison a decent amount throughout my childhood and life. A great trilogy of "books" in TV form and a great trilogy of games, both about a young male figure that can utilize 4 elements to stop a great evil force that is causing a war and creating an imbalance of power that threatens the state of the world. Both stories are phenomenal, I love ATLA and TLoS and I grew up with both: (and Kingdom Hearts) best childhood ever! 😊🧡

A Spyro movie would be amazing based on the trilogy of these games. That would be amazing. Maybe I can try and see what I can do when I get a little older and learn more about this kind of stuff. If I have permissions to do it, I will make it happen. I love the Legend of Spyro Trilogy. That would be nice to see a movie based on the trilogy.

Given that the year of the dragon rolls around every 12 years, thats 120 years. In the third game it is mentioned that dragons brood every 10 years(?), so thats 100 years. Spyro is 12 years old in the original trilogy and also in both the LoS and original trilogy, all the adult dragons are male, so where did all the dragon eggs come from? (Its my personal belief dragons are actually hermaphroditic, and can both fertilize and produce and lay eggs)

3:21:13 holy hell spyro sounds so broken. He thought he had lost Cynder, which is now his everything. All they have been trough, and they were preaparing for the final battle even they may die. Spyro was encouraging Cynder to face Malefor, he was the brave one. But in that moments he had lost all, his hope, Ignitus and his love Cynder. Some people still think if Spyro loves Cynder, but i think its more obvious than Cynders love towards him, and she admitted it in the end. Its hard to explain but i hope you get the idea, as you can see i am non english speaker.

From David Spade to Billy West to Wayne Brady.....it is so entertaining how Sparx managed to have a different voice actor for every game but all of em fit his personality in each respective game. Straight kills me how Sparx acknowledges this in the last game XD

Even though Cynder and Spyro survived and Re-appeared in the Skylander games got married and had a son that one scene where she says I love you was still heartbreaking I hope Netflix has Cynder pop up and She and Spyro can hit off again

I personally take they colour of a dragon as how many traits they can use or speshalise in. With cynder it means she would yet that dark purple coat but don't be fully purple as she wasn't born it

Sparx was at his best in the first game. MY favorite version of the character by far.

The legend of spyro the trilogy deserves a remaster too, is a great saga with a beautiful Story and soundtrack

if activision ever gives up Spyro then maybe... but with the LoS series over, I don't really see that happening. It's been years since Dawn of the Dragon was released and despite how a lot of people in this comment section are fans of the reboot, most people don't like the Legend of Spyro, so it's more than likely we'll never get another game for it

@@DragonProtector yeah lol Without that plot armor and I have evidence it’s plot armor. The poor golem pet of MALFOR would get a delicious crunchy (because spyros horns would be crushed and crunched ) purple treat XD. I just had to add something dark and kinda cute about the golem because I can XD.

This is a great video, well done for putting it together! I enjoyed watching it, as some parts I haven't seen before in the first two Spyro games shown within this video. It was also great to see how the stories go together. Thanks XD

One thing I enjoy Legends of Spyro is the voice acting, *french kiss* Pure gold

The gameplay itself was only mediocre - I think that's why these didn't fare better. If you play as a "proper" dragon like in DOTD (also they completely missed the possibility to play as Ignitus etc.), you almost quaranteedly want to fly, develop your abilities, shoot fireballs, fly freely, plunge and soar high - no matter how good potential the plot and characters have. Music 9/10 Voice acting 9/10 Characters 8/10 (a lot of unused potential) Plot potential 9/10 Actual plot 7/10 Gameplay 7/10 (really; the attacks are a lot of smashing, flying was limited)

This was the best spyro game i swear
