This is the kind of stop motion we are looking for, the facial expressions, great voice actors without any awkward tone, great background scenery, visual effect, the lighting, the music and most importantly the plot. It's just like watching a movie with HOBBIT vibes.

Fantastic, this is one of if not THE best brickfilm to be uploaded on KZread. The animation was done incredibly, the effects, lighting, humor, and everything else was just perfect. But the two things that were most exciting are the detailed sets, and the plot. The sets, were incredibly built with strong attention to details, lots of colors, scene objects, and in a very big size. The story, was very family friendly, intense, interesting, and a lot of good humor was added. I admire your work, you guys are serious hard workers and I do not believe that this work should only be posted on KZread, but on a more professional source. It would be lovely to see more of this fantastic work, maybe in a 17th-18th century style with European colonies, Island conflict, and more. Perfect job with such a long time taking film, 10/10.

@Kirk Krassman Hmm...I don't know about that. I don't doubt you've done one of similar quality, but consider this: the creation and licensing of the music alone can cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars. And then to rent all those models for the towns and castle . . . it would cost a lot, too. I'm currently working on a stop motion that's probably about half as good as this, and I've already spent well over $300 just to get all the models and minifigures . . . and it all takes place in one location, so there's only one main model needed. With this, though, there are sooo many...

@Kirk Krassman One other thing I just remembered, though, is that they had to digitally remove all the Lego logos from their studs to avoid legal issues, so that alone probably added to the budget considerably.

"Chains" (in the end credits) is such an amazing song! Does anyone know where I might find sheet music for it? preferably for one or two voices with piano accompaniment? I've transcribed the lyrics as best I could in the meantime. Here they are for others to enjoy: 44:55 A twisted path in the back of his mind, He keeps walking but he still can’t find What’s keeping him here, why so many fears, why all these tears? He can’t get out of these woods; his past, He fin’ly gives up when he’s given his last, What’s keeping him here, why so many fears, why all these tears? If he could just give up, If he could just give in, When he’s calling out his name, When he’s there to break his chains. There’s a man who’s holding out nail-scarred hands, There’s his cross he chose to bear, And his name will cover up all his shame, There’s a crown he’s meant to wear. If he could just cry out his name… He’s tried so many times, To move beyond, to get past these lies, They’re keeping him here, they bind him in fears, they fill him with tears. His memories always haunt his dreams, Reminding him of every painful scene, They’re keeping him here, they bind him in fears, they fill him with tears. If he could just give up, If he could just give in, When he’s calling out his name, When he’s there to break his chains. There’s a man who’s holding out nail-scarred hands, There’s his cross he chose to bear, And his name will cover up all his shame, There’s a crown he’s meant to wear. If he could just cry out his name… If he would just cry your name… So he pounds on these walls, but they just won't give, He’s looking for life to break free from his sins, Till these bars and these chains, they stay in their place, So we all know the shame, he is hiding his face! When your walking down your twisted path, Look up, look beyond your past, He’ll break all your chains, he’ll take all your shame, he’s crying your name, tonight.

A truly well done brickfilm. From the plot, the voice acting, lighting, animation, and just general effects. Fantastic job with the actual moisture on the bricks during the rain and gorgeous lighting in the caves. Everything about it I truly loved, so awesome to see one of the longest brickfilms ever made so far also have Christian themes throughout. The only downside is I was somewhat confused as to some of the parts of the plot and I think that a few of the lines were awkward, but otherwise it was all fantastic. I'm excited to see what else Monitogo Studios will have in store for the world :) Sorry for your troubles with the Lego group, unfortunate to hear about but I believe it is for the better as many more people may come to know Christ or at least be curious about him with the lack of viewing restrictions that KZread has. Well done! I congratulate you on a job well done... the amount of time you've put into Bound is truly remarkable :)

This was pretty great! The stop-motion was excellent, and there were some really good builds used in this. The forest and that dry canyon at the end were especially good. I really liked that ripple effect when he dove into the water too, and the way the characters know they're Lego and joke about coming apart and so on! I wasn't real big on the heavy-handed Christian messaging, but that's just me, and I suppose it does fit the early medieval theme too. Well done!
