It actually sounds more like the new tracks than the old ones to me, which is also why I can't see the appeal of em. Some sound better than others though, for sure!

This isnt just cobining the two tracks and calling it a day you done such a good job mixing these. Its like hearing a new 3rd version of the ost

Stewart Copeland the man who defined my childhood with this epic soundtrack. Still one of my favorite soundtracks ever made.

I remember telling my dad about these games and that the music was awesome. Somehow my little kid self discovered his name was Stewart Copeland and I still remember my dad’s reaction. And my reaction when he told me he was the drummer for Police, they were on the radio all the time (Sting especially). Blew my mind and his lol

I actually like them all, there's not a single one I like the most, maybe Metalhead and Gnasty's Loot are my favorites amongst them but they're all so well crafted and fit each level so perfect. You can really hear Stewart indeed played each level to capture the atmosphere. And a shoutout to High Caves the PAL version, this is so much better as the alternate Tree Tops version. Glad I got to have that version burned in my childhood. It actually has a story for me, that level never loaded for me, I only could play the first part to the top of the mountain with the dragon statue but once I continued it always crashed. Luckily I could return the broken game and got myself another copy that shines on my shelves to this day.

This is the definitive way of listening to these soundtracks, thank you 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Honestly, I just had a love for a little for some on the remastered OST And I’ve always preferred the Original OST. Listening mashed up in a professional way is just a lot better, I’d prefer if they had to do was this. I odd the original, and added a bit of new stuff. Like listening to wizard's peak Reignited OST, just no in my books for how it’s lost its beat. And yeah sure there’s a toggle the original. But listening to this was just the best thing you’ve done my man!

It would be really cool if rather than the option of oñd vs new OST in reignited, they had a slider where you could control the balance of old vs new. Although i dont want to discredit this video, there was obviously much more balancing involved in this merge that isnt just “lets play both tracks over each other at equal volume”

Nice job! I love how these go beyond just being mashups, and they combine the best elements of both versions musically. Love it!!

This is thrill, man! I wonder what next. Oh I also that minor extended music track expect that was.

Toasty sounded way too watered down in Reignited, and not nearly as menacing as the OG soundtrack. This fixed it! Actually, I think my problem with Reignited's music is that it went dynamic for a more "immersive" feel I guess... But it didn't work for me. The music lost its punch most of the time, so I switched back to the OG soundtrack while playing.

Why the beginning of Tree Tops is ommited from the Reignited Trilogy I'll never understand. Not to mention, why didn't we get the PAL version of High Caves? That would have been mega dope if we could also choose which version we listen to.

​@@Eight-Bytes Both of your concerns were addressed in my Copelete OST Mod on PC! For the original music anyway (: The main file contains PAL High Caves and every track has the intros and endings restored.

I really loved the way you mashed up all of my favorite songs like all of the peace keeper's world songs where amazing i loved wizard Peak and twilight harbor blow me away love it man keep it up bro

Todavia sigo jugando a la trilogía clasica en mi Wii (con un emulador, actualmente corren perfecto los juegos, algo impensado hace unos años atrás cuando el emulador de PS1 no estaba muy pulido. With the right programs used, it is actually very easy to do, plus almost all of the songs have the same BPM. The only time it gets tedious was when certain tracks from the original would go off beat, so i'd have to realign them so that the hits/drum beats would stay in sync with the reignited version, Sunny Villa was the worst when it came to fixing that issue.
