look for spyro 3 year of the dragon, you'll be blowing away! though i still think spyro 2 is more fun than 3.

This video brings a tear to my eye. Not because of how good the run is (It is fantastic BTW, well done) but because of how freaking good Spyro was back on the PS1! The first 3 games were fantastic, then everything just went to shit! Then Skylanders *shudder* was released! Skylanders to me is like how Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts is to the Banjo Kazooie fans! They ruined a perfectly good series by selling an over priced game with a shit tonne of over priced DLC to make a quick buck off of the average gamer! Fuck!

Dude i could not agree with you more these games were the best games of my childhood then they ruined it with enter the dragonfly and up game design just got worse and there just was no love put into them.Don't even start me on skylanders though ughh

***** I flipped my shit with Skylanders because of how they advertised it, and then how it turned out! Since day one of it's announcement, they advertised it as a Spyro game. Every advertisement was "Look! Spyro! It's a Spyro game!" And I assumed that the other characters were just support to get over certain obstacles and were never really needed! Then I played it, and sold it the next week! I have been waiting for a good Spyro game since Year of the Dragon, and the whole switch thing looked awesome, and I have a soft spot for clever programming! But it seems that they only used Spyro's face to sell more copies, which is something they should've never done! Don't take a childhood icon, someone we've loved for years and slap his face on a piece of shit and call it a Spyro game! Imagine if they did it with Mario or Sonic! It would be unforgivable!

Thorlion Al'Verek I *HATED* Dragonfly! It was so boring! Levels were dull, enemies were dull, missions were dull! Heroes Tail was ok in my opinion, never finished it, but got further in it than Dragonfly! They did however ruin the most hateable, but somewhat likeable character, Moneybags by making him a freaking bazaar merchant, instead of a massive bear in a suit with a very nostalgic voice, clutching a bag of gems! I loved his design! Made him look like such a greedy bugger! Loved how you beat the shit out of him though to get your money back! XD

As a fan of both I don't feel the same way. Nuts and bolts was a good game. Even if you say it's bad, at least Rare never sold Banjo. Insomniac on the other hand sold Spyro. Enter the Dragon Fly was decent, but then it went to shit. Spyro can be maybe compared to Crash, but that's it. Banjo still has parents who love him very much while Spyro was sold to Activision to become a sex slave.

Breegullbeak When I mentioned Nuts & Bolts, I was talking about how all of the old fans were given something they were not wanting. The Banjo fans wanted Banjo Threeie, the Spyro fans wanted a new Spyro game, as good as the original 3. Instead, Banjo gets cars, and Spyro gets toys!

Spyro at the end is like. Well that killed about 30 minutes of my vacation. I wonder what I'll do next.

Posey i don't think so, judging from a hero's tale his reaction toward ember when she was talking to him seem like he's a bit shy.

I...just....WHAT?!?!? My jaw literally dropped when Hurricos was completed in under 40 seconds and the super Moneybags wall was simply jumped over to get to Aquaria Towers. Speedruns like this make me wonder how people figure these things out, you certainly kept me guessing on how you can get to Ripto without enough orbs. Keep up the good work guys. :P

One of my favorite games from when I was a kid.Omg that skip to Ripto fight. Sick.

This game far outshines the original with better graphics, better characters, and the storyline is much more original. In each level, there is one person you have to help out, and you are awarded the Tallisman. From then on, there are 2 or 3 more tasks you have to do to get the orbs. For example, some of the tasks are leading a group of baby turtles to safety, finding a lost snow leopard,(Don't worry, he won't bite!:)), and filling some underwater towers with water for some seahorses(Don't ask!) Also, the animated sequences in between levels are wicked funny. A GREAT GAME!

I just recently started running this game, can do literally everything but the gulp skip, and im glad to see someone who didn't use that, cause in my opinion its more impressive to watch someone do most of the levels instead of do one skip and not have to learn a pattern or anything to more of the game, i respect that, weather you cant do the gulch skip or choose not to i run it this way as well, you did awesome.

I spent what seemed like hours on some of these levels as a kid, and he goes and beats some of 'em in under 30 seconds. damn you! pretty cool to watch though.

one of the most innovative final boss fight in game i ever played! sure it was kinda hard back then when i was a kid but it's a hell of a fun.

That final boss fight was the most satisfying moment for 5 year old me

Good time! I can think of a good few ways you can even improve on this time, there are a few glitches in some of the worlds where you can skip out even more parts but i have learnt alot myself watching this so thanks!

I feel like the person doing this speed run sometimes got carried away and started having fun collected gems, lol

Omg you did hurricos in seconds, it took me an hour when i was a child...

Clearly the intended way to win.

in Summer forest, you can do a double jump glitch to go out of bounds and then fly down and land right into the Crash boss fight, so you skip a whole hub world

+Breegullbeak the reason spyro was sold to Sierra ( I thinks that how you spell the company's name correct me if I'm wrong) because insomniac deemed five years on one franchise was long enough ( something that other companies should realise *cough*callofduty*cough*) and sold it. The main point is that spyro was loved by his parents they just thought that he should leave his house and get a job for better or for worse depends on your opinion of the legends series.

Now main question are all these glitches gonna be in the Spyro PS4 remastered one?

Why was this uploaded now? Me and 2 others have his time beat for this category and there are more major skips that makes this game around 9 minutes that were found recently. It seems like you guys were a bit late to the party ;)

DarkZodiar No, it was also in Spyro 2. However, I just remembered that this glitch can be used in a level, and not in the summer forrest.

Outside998 there is an out of bounds to get to the first boss but that blocks you from getting to the second boss without going back to the first

You can beat the game now in 15 minutes thanks to Gulp skip.

How does he jump so high?

Isn't there skips to all the bosses? Why not use the first two?? Also, you should have done the glitch into Dragon Shores to get the firebolt, it would have made Ripto so much easier and quicker.

i don't know but judging by the time it took to beat spyro 2 with high jumps and no skip glitches, which was approximately 2 hours 20 minutes, i'd say it would take about 3 to 4 hours to beat spyro 2 legitimately :D
