Listening to the SPV3 OST again, I understand why people say it's "too grand" but it really does fit with the motif of the mod in general: it's basically the memorable Halo CE campaign redone with even more splendor and seeing all the additions made to the original campaign and tweaks perfectly fits the wonder and discovery the og Halo trilogy had.

Pero es "demasiado". En Halo CE, había argumento histórico para justificar lo que Había (que enemigos, que armas, etc). Enfrentábamos a la 2da Flota Mayor del Covenant, pasando a ser la 1er en el acto tras los sucesos de Halo Reach (donde la 1er original queda diezmada), por ende se trataba de una Flota "purista", sin Brute's, etc. Y en Halo CE, nunca su banda sonora desborda de Grandeza, sino mas bien de Combate, Misterio, girando poco a poco entorno a un Holocausto Inminente, que incluso hasta el final queda este palpito a modo reminiscente, hasta que escuchamos la frase del Jefe Maestro, para dejar instaurado ese aire que experimentamos (que la tragedia, "sigue a pie de cañon", presente, siendo... lo que vemos y aumenta en las siguientes entregas de Halo). Por cierto, lo que la Flota del Covenant (que llega a la Instalacion 04) y el Pillar Of Autum tenian de equipamiento, lo justifican historicamente. El POA iba en una mision Muy Especifica, Secreta, y en sus armamento contaban con Rifles de Asalto con cargadores ampliados (del primero al ultimo de los rifles), era una dotación muy pensada para una situación en concreto. Yo, la verdad, la Carabina de Halo 2 la sentí inferior al Rifle de Asalto con 60 balas de Halo CE. Todos los Halos muestran, lo que vimos en el rostro de la Bibliotecaria: Que a la Humanidad le esperan retos enormes, repletos de tragedia, que carga peso mas y mas en los hombros del Jefe Maestro, en un Final cada vez mas incierto (un reto tras otro, siendo el siguiente mas grande que el anterior, donde los Numeros no crecen al mismo ritmo que las pruebas [ Elite's aliados, pero no mas ] ). La "Grandeza" quedo pequeña ante la realidad de los hechos. Por eso puedo opinar que este Mod no encaja con la esencia de la obra original (It's Halo, in a world of colors).

You described Pillar of Autumn, Truth and Recoinciliation, Assault on Control Room, The Maw, Delta Halo, Gravemind, Cortana. Fear, darkness, thats the point of Halo 5 plot. THERE WAS AN STORY. Halo 5 is the deepest point in our main characters story. Cortana finally shows her corruption, John lets his worse feelings (fear, despair, foolishness) lead his actions. And you cant compare a Halo ring with another kind of Forerunner world thats completly different to a Halo.

it is overdramatic and a bit much, BUT it's kinda neat picking out the original song from the chorus and background elements. I like hearing different takes on my most beloved songs.

This one is the best version cause the ost go so well with the mission . Marine trap in brute prison the chief coming to save them kicking ass , the song give me a vibe of hope imagining the marine Watching chief kill the covenant and save them. This is my favorite track from Spv3 maybe even all halo game i love so much this version its so good.

It's good, but I wish it had the guitar and vocals. So for me, I prefer the Halo 2 Anniversary one. It just suits the mood of halo better. But this is still good
