Good to hear that Ange is still happy but gosh I hope this will never happen again or if it does, I hope the situation would panned out in a different way. Despite what’s done is done, it still left a bitter taste in my mouth how this fanbase used to be 100% behind Ange, now it’s all over the place with some wants him gone and some agreed with what he said. All I could say, he’s our best shot. Rivalries aside, what Arsenal does is beyond our wall of interest. We need to stay focus on our side of the pitch and win games. With the fans uncertainly turning their backs on him, if the club is doing the same then there’s no point for him to stay so I will cover my ears and keep moving forward. Beat Sheffield and then Spurs can get busy. Get some players, build a new squad and get over the bar of what was set from the first 10 games on beyond to the very end. COYS !!! Mate Tim Sherwood got more points in his first season than ange has. I’m willing to give him a chance but he needs to understand that spurs will always hate arsenal and if a whole stadium is singing for city, learn quick. He’s the same height as Bernardo Silva and he has no issue with physicality. Heck he’s 2 inches taller than Solomon. I’m not saying Solomon is at the required level, but when he played, his height didn’t seem an issue. Lennon and Moura are two other short wingers for spurs that come to mind who had a strong sense of low gravity to still be effective as wingers in the prem

Kubo? Have any of you saying he will be a good signing seen him play? He's mobile, but he gets wiped out when he gets physically challenged. Look at how he plays in the Japanese National Team. The play in the AFC gets really rough and his play is diminished. He cannot play in the EPL.

VAR increases the cost of matches where it is used for no real benefit, decision's are still often wrong. Scrap it, it's a total waste of money.

Problem with VRA and premier league in general, there are no clear rules, just guidance which evry ref interpreted difrently, so we getting difrent decisions for the same offences the whole thing needs to change

If VAR takes 5 mins to decide if a player was offside, then it obviously isn’t clear and obvious, and the striker should be given the goal IMO.

Just to clarify, Sweden never had VAR and as a swede I enjoy it much more!! We have worse refs so mistakes happen but they communicate very well! Much better atmosphere in the stadium without VAR!! My first and yet only spursgame was our 1-4 loss to Chelsea with VAR MADDNESS lol!!

Thank you guys for your ongoing information. VAR, is it a complete failure? No. Does it work 100% of the time? (No; 75% to 85%,probably) There are problems and issues that PGMOL has failed to fix. If a team is failing on the field then the first victim is going to be coach or manager. So one must wonder what instructions the on-field officials have? Resolve that, change PGMOL leadership and find some other leaders, the current ones do not have it.

• They ruined VAR & messed it up very badly, it was supposed to be fixing mistakes but they turned into the mistake. • I'm glad Ange is still happy because that's the only manager I trust to rebuild our team. I can't see another manager who can get the best out of Spurs without Son & Kane in the future but Ange. He has a winning mentality & it's obvious not a lot of people in/out the club has it. • Angel Gomes is a good shout tbh i've never really thought about him. Still very strong on getting Eze or MGW. • Kubo at Spurs gets me so excited, I think this is a top signing. Now a front 3 of Williams Sesko Kubo gets me very excited with Moore Veliz Johnson as backup. • Buongiorno is a decent signing but Calafiori is very very needed in this defence. • Hopefully Feeney becomes a top player🙏🏽

Yeah I’m sure Ange isn’t giving up on us yet but I do hope he creates change within the club to direct our focus to winning, improving and actually succeeding rather than worrying about what other clubs are doing.

In terms of “inside the club”. Ange has openly stated he want to change coaching staff next year and that some coaching staff are not fully aboard his method

PL clubs have agreed to have semi-automatic offsides from next year (separate from VAR). With the offsides cleared up, scrapping VAR would be a great decision imo

See if Levy and Anges goals align going forward this summer but the Honeymoon is over , Ange is going to be judged on results and performance , no fear , no excuse play to win football , fed up of 45 min FC turning up for games . I think Ange meant the Water cooler conversation inside the club, was like the fans. a Casual "oh it would be better if we lost this weekend" type of thing. He also said he had to re align his radar after this. I took that to mean he has to account for the internal mental fragility now as well.

It's quite simple. Ange was talking about the media and other supporters as outside the club and our own supporters as inside the club.

Simply put a time limit for VAR of 2 minutes because anything over that is NOT clear and obvious .

I think it would be insane to bin VAR. Just to reject all the technology and be willing to get easy things wrong is just cowardly. Just fix it, tweak it and make it more efficient. Don't quit.

Objective decisions like offside , goal check - VAR. Subjective decisions of penalty or red - NO VAR as it’s basically another ref making a call. Given PL refs are useless they got must of those wrong. That’s why international games VAR seems better & not PL

I've been saying that VAR needs to be completely switched around from its current 'clear and obvious' system.. Offsides should be clear and obvious and everything else should be letter of the law. So if VAR looks at a possible offside and cannot see at first glance whether it is or not then the goal should stand. No need to draw lines, or check from multiple angles, or watch over and over again in slow motion. One look and you're done. On the other side if say a player fouls another player in the box but the ref missed then it's a penalty. There we are all fixed.

Whether he starts or comes off the bench he seems to almost always have the highest rating on his team for the game. Speaks to a lot that. Good signing I reckon if he can get in the gym.

SCRAP VAR… never had it before never been a problem.. gives the refs too much power, takes the momentum out of the game.. our game was way more beautiful when they weren’t criticising every challenge, frame by frame.. this season has been ridiculous, so inconsistent

Never wanted VAR in first place ! It is pointless as we’re still arguing about same things. You can’t get VAR right as football is not a perfect yes or no game it’s subjective so it’s still someone making a decision. I’d prefer if the refs got all power back and if necessary they can maybe watch it back. Automated offsides I’m ok with .

Unfortunately, we implemented VAR in exactly the same way we implement all big (governemnt) projects. It is ham fisted and not led by experts and simply misses the point. In these other tournaments it works, despite our jingoistic nature we need to just say "hey europe, hey Fifa, how do you make this work?". We also need to revise the rules. Why not go back to "clear space" (between players) for and offside. Or how about half of the body? But fractions just ruins the game. Also, the way it is presented and the information for the people in the stadium needs to be clear, dynamic, and exciting. I favour micing refs but there is too much F'ing and Jeff'ing for that I suppose. As you say, we see it done well, why is our country a basket case?

Scrap VAR refs are not making decisions they are waiting for VAR to pick things up.

Kubo is Asian version of Gil...should stay away. He did nothing in La Liga...get Lee Kang-In from PSG instead. Both of them came up in Spain and Lee is rated levels above Kubo.
