Respectfully contradicting Coach Stick here, sorry but Chasing the Sun is not showing the people anything, it is only showing those people who can afford to get on the other side of the paywall AND who live in the country. Even leaving aside the millions who cannot afford to pay the monthly subscription in SA, even the Springbok players themselves who play their rugby overseas, will not be able to watch this. Jasper, Polly, Andre, RG, Kitsy, Kwagga... even Siya Kolisi!!!!! They can not watch this. Not gonna lie, that leaves a very bitter taste in the mouth! Millions of Springbok fans inside the country and living abroad who cannot watch a documentary on how our team conquered the world. We don't mind paying a fee to watch it, but please, let us watch it!!

The Springboks are an inspiration, they unite us, they make us dream. This World Cup was dope! Would be great to relive it, Chasing the Sun 2 definitely a must watch.

chasing the Sun was near impossible to watch outside South Africa and involved sharing recorded files across google drives...I hope they make it somehow more accessible for those of us out of the country

Yes, but Multichoice have hidden this not only behind a paywall, but a paywall only available to fans living in the country. The Springboks represented all of us, rich or poor, black or white, at home or abroad, so surely this could be released in such a way that it was available, even for a small fee, to everyone??

Japan was the better Host country, better opening / closing ceremony and the Japan crowds was in a far better jovial spirit than the booing French, but the drama between the 4 white lines in France was overall better, climaxing with SA vs NZ for the 4th title.
