If you get this, any tips for the Fall opener 2022? I’m going first time this year. Maybe Blackwell Silver Lake. I heard that the red Trout Bait balls work good. I got a jar of Trout bait.

I use spinners. I use a 1/8th oz rooster tail or a mepps aglia #1. I recommend using 4lb or 6lb test if you want to cast a spinner. I also use a medium light rod. Good Luck

Hold on. Daniel was right. You’re supposed to wet your hands, if you care about the first you’re releasing.

I know you are a good man brother but please handle fish with wet hands and don't squeeze them, unless you keep them. That fish died anyway.
