Nice work! That's some good fishing over there right now. Go check it out. There's so many coastal lakes we're needing to explore.

That's great to know. I'll have to toss one out this summer. Years ago we caught tons of really nice sized yellow perch with just worms on the bottom. It was awesome because you never knew if you'd catch a big holdover trout or a nice perch. This was back far enough where most of the Trout in the lake seemed to be around 14- 17 inches and fat. The perch were big too and crazy good fighters!

My favorite place on the Oregon coast. Lincoln city and Devils lake. When I come home for a visit I make it a point to spend a few days there. Thanks much for the video.

It's been my favorite from before I can remember. I grew up as a young child making tons of day and overnight trips. Lots of early mornings with no wind and calm, glass-like waters. We used to rent boats at Blue Heron Landing but I don't believe they do that anymore.

You could save powerbait by using half the amount. I use size 8 hooks and roll powerbait into a cylinderical shape and only cover the shank of the hook. Bait lasts twice as long and catch just as many fish! That's how I do it.
