Spring (((reverb))) Time - Syntakt meets Spring Reverberation 636

Some short jams trying out the new Behringer Spring Reverberation 636. My main interest is trying the spring reverb on percussive material which is why sounds here are mostly drums and fx. There is no reverb from the built in reverb in Syntakt in these patterns so the reverb you hear is coming from the spring.
The sound of the drive in the preamp section sounds nice and could be explored more - might be a future video. I also made a mini teardown and had a look inside the unit to check out the spring tank inside. I will upload the video soon so stay tuned if you are interested in that. Cheers!

nice tunes. this is preproduction or are they sold out? had wanted to get a spring. also you know why this thing is so big? does it have like a giant spring in it?

Thanks! I ordered mine way back in January so I think it's just the first batch that's sold out. I wondered about the size too so I looked inside to see the spring tank. It's not as big as I expected - I will post a video of it soon!

@@ruscor nice. Because like dopfer spring tank is like 120 and hypnosis kits have recently been 200 so maybe this for 200 isn't great if the spring isn't super big bc of size and price

Don't know. I ordered it from Thomann back in January so it's taken quite a while.
It has foot switch control ?

Yes! On both the front and back panel actually.
