I was in Greece at the beginning of April and I had the opportunity to ride around a bit.
This is the first of 3 RAWs you'll see from that time.
Greece in spring was absolutley stunning. Flowers and Green grass everywhere and perfect temperatures for motorcycling. Another bonus was the non existent amount of traffic on the backroads, as you can see in the video.
Anyway, enjoy the lovley flat sound of the boxer!

Love it!! Because of your videos, which I found about two weeks ago, I am finally finishing my A license on Wednesday 20th April. I am really nervous but the thing that keeps me going is the MT09 that I will be getting after I pass! :D Cheers and enjoy riding!

Thanks for sharing this soundful ride wih us 👍. The exhaust sounds just fine. Typical BMW ... 🙂 I wouldn't change it.

Ahhh, sehr sehr nice! Ein nicht vertocknetes, sondern aufblühendes Griechenland... Welche Gegend ist denn das? Hast das Moped privat oder kommerziell ausgeborgt? Fragen über Fragen 🤣 LG Christian

Danke für's schauen! Das ist die Gegend südlich von Sparta. Die GS war privat ausgeborgt über einen Spezl. Motorradverleih gib's dort glaube ich gar keinen...

What is the difference between the torque and output ride between ktm1190 and r1200gs? I'm thinking about between the two models I heard 1200gs isn't going well, so I want to hear from people who have ridden both. Is there a big difference?

Overall I can say, that the R1200GS (AC and LC) is much better in low revs than the KTM 1190 Adv...it just runs smoother and pulls better down low in the rev range. The biggest difference is between the "old" aircooled DHOC Boxer and the 1190. The newer watercooled Boxer is a bit in between. The way I ride mostly (low to midrange in the rpms) the boxer engine suits me better. The KTM LC8 in the 1190 doesn't pull that hard from down low, but be aware of the "afterburner", after you hit ~6500rpm. 😅 The Boxer Engine however comes with it's own little querks and funny things. Eg. the "sidekick" when you try to revmatch at low rpm...A last word: I don't "miss" any HP with the DHOC Boxer(110HP) compared to my 1190(150HP), even though it has 40hp less!

@@StromerKZread True. But there are some ways to put the 1190 engine "rounder" and smooth. A good remap will combined with a "Rotweiler" air filter will change the engine´s character a lot at low to mid´s in a much better way (high rpm´s too). Better fuel consumption. Think about that. Cheers.

@zardportugal that's true! But out of the box the GS wins for me. A more "open" exhaust also helps with the low rpm behavior of the 1190.

@@StromerKZread Indeed. You have already one exhaust i guess (Arrow?) so half way is done. ;-)

@@zardportugal I have the Giannelli(Arrow with another label) but that thing is just too loud below 4000rpm...😐 In other words: you can't ride that thing quiet...

@@DaveBrown2020 I have an old hip bag (probably from the 90s 😅) that I have on the back. I think you can even see it in a video with a KLE 500 I made a while ago.
