Hi Dianne, enjoyed video, we are so emotionally connected to all sorts when it comes to a clear out of anything even when they are not used any more " I'll keep just incase" 😂😅 but you are sending quality clothing to charity that some one will love. I remember you making the top you have on and I am pleased you reminded use, as I am having to do some piecing and I have been ready to through the towel in but now I will persevere and see it through its amazing what a little virtual hand holding can achieve. Thank you so much for putting up the videos you do I for one am truly grateful for the time you give. Susan🌸🌼🌻🌼

Hi Bridget, I know you always find you need something once it's gone. Or suddenly think of a use for it.

Nice review of the garments that are headed to the charity shop. I'm with you - carefully choosing what will go. I sort my wardrobe left to right, so if it's hanging out on the left for too long - because I haven't worn it - at some point I have a look and either refashion or let it go. It feels great!

Hi Deanne, yes there may be a few more as I tried a few things on this week and wasn't feeling it. One was a dress that I like ,but it now feels too short, it's no good if we don't feel comfortable in them. Have a good weekend.

Hi Diane, I'm sorting out patterns with lists of what type of fabric for each so that I can have it all on a sheet so I know what to order and where the gaps are in my fabrics on hand. Like you, I have loads of prints but few plains so I need to cop on a bit and not get carried away by the fab prints next time I shop. Would you consider upcycling the red ponte dress into a plain cardigan or winter top if the fabric is ok. Its a fab colour and it looks like there is a fair bit of material in the skirt. Just a thought. ..it might solve some of your winter plains? I would love to see any videos about upcycling clothes if you had any inspiration at all. I love your videos by the way!

Hi Tracy, you are organised.. Yes I had thought of up cycling this one but then thought someone else might like it as it is. I do have a few upcycling videos if you go back to my earlier videos and I do plan to do more. I have quite a few dresses that are not getting worn so they may be refashioned into blouses. Enjoy your clearout☺️

Hi Dianne. Brilliant video. Must be spring that is making us want to go through our wardrobes! I’m off work this week and doing the same and planning spring makes. I need some good plain basic t shirts too. I’ve made a couple of Tilly’s Tabitha t shirts. Long and short sleeved and they are fab. Weather has been lovely the last couple of days (I am near Gatwick, think you are further north?) xx

Hi Samantha, thank you. Yes it's that spring feeling we all want to sort out things. I think us dress makers tend to love fabric so never buy the plain stuff but it is needed. I am much further north, Sheffield Yorkshire ☺️.
