How often do you have to fill them? I love this idea. I also, love how you are teaching and tell a lot of info without saying a word. Great way to share a lot of info.

Thank you so much for the positive feedback! So glad you enjoyed our latest video. The kids and I have been refilling the pots every week or so. We eventually plan on adding a few more pots around the garden. I can’t wait to test them out during the super hot summer months.

Nifty, I absolutely love your garden. When you snap off the asparagus does it grow back? I’ve never really seriously had a garden. I tried but they all died. 🥲 ~ Janet 😘

I use these, but I glue two together, and stop up 1 hole. It then holds 2 twice as much.

Awesome! Love that! I had seen those and definitely want to give that version a try. I also need to add several more to our growing garden to make them more effective. Thanks so much for taking the time to share and like our video. 🖐🏻

Did this work out for you? How many plants would that keep happy and how long does it typically last before needing to refill?

Great question! For now, we have one pot for about four plants. But for larger plants, you might need to make it a 1:1 ratio. Eventually, I would like to add more pots as our garden grows this season. Also, I would like to try to glue two pots together to hold more water. For now, we are still just refilling the pots once a week, but I can see that we’ll have to do it more often during the hottest part of the summer.
