Spring Fed Timber Framed Greenhouse Part 2 Stone Foundation

In this video we break ground on the timber framed greenhouse foundation. While digging we unplugged a spring right in the middle of the foundation so we incorporated it in to the build. Now we have a constant supply of water inside the greenhouse.

What a change over these few years. When you first arrived everything in the landscape worked against you, now you find a spring of water right where you build your greenhouse. Everything's coming up Milhouse.

Don't mess up your spring when you dig the drainage ditch behind the wall! You are an inspiration to this old man....

You must be a left over from the last century. When ships were made of wood and men were made of iron. Even people I knew years back didn't work as hard as you. You're a tough bird, we used to say. Nice job!👍

The greenhouse will be absolutely unique with the natural spring fed pool and tropical hardwood timber frame. Regarding the natural stone wall, it looks very good and seems more than strong enough for that size building. If the spring doesn't dry up, I don't see why it couldn't become the primary water supply for the workshop and future house. Springwater is almost too good for watering purposes, looks like you could easily collect plenty of rainwater for that.

If I were religious I’d say the water spirits are honouring you. As I’m not, wonderful mate, a lesson in how right thinking can change a quagmire into something beautiful and functional. Alway impressed with everything you do chap.
