It takes a lot to admit your not a plant person. It breaks my heart to see plants die because of neglect, so thank you for admitting this. There's so many realistic looking faux plants now you could look into, like that gorgeous olive one in your entryway but definitely do more planting outside.

Yes, I wash my walls. I have animals and was a smoker. I'm allergic to cats and dogs, but I have to wash the curtains and walls weekly and also get a shot once a month in order to keep my fur babies. I can't stand the smell of smoke, so I would go outside to smoke. Smoking stains the walls, but I did allow my friends to smoke in the house. Funny thing, they didn't know that I was a smoker because my house never smelt like it. Thank God I'm smoke free and loving the fresh air(3 years). Continue to be blessed and a blessing to others.

Yes washing the walls down w the mop saves yours knees and back from being awkward position! It’s a must for apartment or space when renting and someone use to smoke in the house it’ll knock the smell out instantly!

A dry swiffer duster and then a wet swiffer pad are wall cleaning game changers. I live in an old house with moulded baseboards that collect a lot of dust on the edges, and using a swiffer helps a lot!

I swifter my walls. I also use a microfiber cloth to clean my walls. I have cement walls. So I can use lots of water to keep them clean.
