@@BenitaLarsson It must be genetic. My grandmother was Swedish, and I have always loved wooden floors. (My dad, her son, did too.) I can't *stand* carpeting! Rugs are fine, but I always feel like carpeting is keeping unhealthy secrets.

@@arguchik I totally agree with you. You can never get a real good cleaning of a carpet. I renovated my in laws house years ago and ripped out the blue carpet in the bedroom and it was disgusting 😝. I love hardwood floors 😍😍😍😍

@@arguchik YES! it's impossible to deep clean carpets regularly and they are awful for allergies. In my country only old houses (from the 60s) that weren't renovated have carpet, everyone else has tile, hardwood, parquet or "fake" hardwood floors

here in Brazil I think the carpet was only bought until the 90s, or even before. we use a lot of ceramic/porcelain flooring, but I really wanted a laminate floor, it's so beautiful and it looks easier to clean!

I discovered this channel not long ago and decided to start watching from the first vlog. Love the calm way you describe what you’re doing and your minimalist approach - though I’m not anywhere near that level yet! You’ve also inspired me to declutter and do a deep spring clean which is a work in progress. My grandfather was Danish so I’m interested in all things Scandinavian. I can’t wait to visit Sweden again …hopefully next year 🤗🇦🇺

So I just watched this TWICE 🤷‍♀️ Nice job with the video....everything really! 👏🏻👏🏻 The little bit that I saw of your patio, LOVE IT. The netting like thing above for Bonus and Mini’s safety is on point too. Simplicity is everything... at least for me and I love that even your bed linens are simple which makes it easier to switch out linens and make the bed. No idea why I have my bed so complicated... mattress cover, fitted sheet, top sheet, blanket year round AND finally the comforter! Oh, let’s not forget the pillows we sleep with, then the decor pillows and then two small throw pillows!!! 🤦🏼‍♀️ Whyyyyyy? Changing this hot mess this weekend. Thanks for the inspiration ALWAYS 👋👋

I watch Niehm on Fairyland Cottage and she uses baking soda and a lemon to clean glass and inside her stove. I tried it and wow it works well and smells good.

Watching your videos is so relaxing they are literally ASMR for my eyes. :) You could try these white dirt sponges at the base of your kitchen table, they work better if they are a little wet. :) And it may be better as a scrubbing cleanser as it roughens the surface making it more sensitive for more stains Also it may look nice to put a medium-density-fiberboard on top of the tiled spot beneath your bathroom mirror for now. A similar one like at your washing machine and dryer, not the same diameter though. With a wooden or a white top. But that may only be me as I am not a big fan of tiled surfaces. :) Also I would like to see how you plan out your patio. Plants, pots, climbing supports, hanging plants, hydrangeas etc.

I quite like the tile but unfortunately there are some stains in the grout that aren't coming out so its a good tip! I have some of those sponges and will try them the next time! They do dull surfaces too though so be careful on glossy areas!

Thanks for watching! The bird is by Kristian Vedel and made by Architect Made I believe. I got it from my BFF and love it! you can turn the head and body over and make it look completely different too!
