The quickest way to clean the glass is to dip a damp cloth into the ashes and wipe the windows. Then wipe with clean water. Super easy, no scrubbing or scraping and works wonderfully!

Oh Noemi, there was SO MUCH good content here! I love the story of washing Zolt's clothes by hand. Those hard times make us so appreciative of our later gains in life. Sometimes, I think all the luxury and convenience we have is doing more harm than good for our young people. Anyway, Thank you so much for enriching our lives! Hugs!!

Hello Noemi, Your videos are always inspiring to me. After watching I’m always motivated to simplify something in my home. The changes I’ve made have created a calm an clutter free home that’s become easier and easier to clean. Today I’m going to go spend some time in my laundry room as well. What a terrific idea for refurbishing your quilt you don’t use anymore! I bet the boys Like it too. Sorry to see that the glass broke in the fireplace. Hopefully it will be an easy fix. I like to make a paste with my garlic scapes (The green part that sprouts up from the garlic plant). I don’t like a strong garlic taste so I use very little garlic in my cooking but I use garlic everyday. I found garlic scapes to give me the mild taste I enjoy. I put them in a food processor and store them in olive oil too like you do with the garlic clove. The little bit of prep you do daily makes for less stressful cleaning and meal cooking. Thank you for sharing this with us. I hope you and your family are all well! 🍄🌹💕💐

You have me thinking "what would Noemi do with this" when I am organizing now, I am so happy I found you. I sent you a instagram message about a solution to the IKEA missing cabinet. You can call your credit card company and tell them you did not get the item and they WILL give you your money back! Try it before you are out of the time limit to do so if IKEA still has not sent you your item you PAID for. 😃hugs from Canada

To keep the duvet covers in place: sew 3 ribbons on the top side of the duvet (one on each end and one in the middle between them). And 3 ribbons on the inside top side of the duvet cover. Spread the inside out duvet cover on top of the duvet, tying each pair of ribbons together. Then use the "Burrito" method to easily get the duvet inside it's cover. It's so nice not to find yourself with an empty duvet cover on your shoulder, while the duvet is bundled up on your legs :D

With all that lovely Spring sunshine I can't believe you didn't hang your bed linen outside to dry - best smell in the world is line-dried bed sheets, I often put them straight back on the bed to enjoy it! Also saves a ton of money as the drier is sooo expensive to run. I have a lovely wool blanket from Ikea that I drape over the end of our king size bed - but it's just for me as my husband is never cold at night, even in the depths of Winter! Great tip about the eggs - I've never tried freezing them before.

I love the story about the washing machine! I am with you - I can do without the dishwasher (actually have as we have waited almost a year for our housing company to fix/replace ours, no end in sight), and we haven't had a microwave in 10 years - but I am SO THANKFUL for the washing machine. I think after the door and the sink, I wouldn't be willing to touch the knife to cook! LOL So glad no one was hurt as it happened without a fire. How wild! I hope you can find the glass for it without a big expense. The boys' blankets made from the big one look fantastic. Now I want that nice, no-wrinkle blanket. 🤣 I am so glad to have learned that tip from you about tying the corners and turning it out; HUGE help as I fought with our duvet all the time til the first time you explained it. Thank you! Hoping the rest of the week is beautiful. Looking forward to the future videos of the storage closet and what you do with that cozy deck corner!

Loved all the spring cleaning motivation to do one room at a time. You’re a queen of your household that takes so much care. Reminds me of how to go back and clean our hardworking machine that I neglect way too long. Maybe make a paste of baking soda and vinegar and rub in lightly next time to your fireplace glass to avoid all the scraping. I clean my oven glass like that when stuff is baked on instead of using metal that can scratch it by accident.

Love your video. Don't have chickens so did not realize you could feed the shells. I clean and pulverize mine for plant fertilizer. Sorry about fireplace glass. Very inspiring freezing eggs three ways. I'm will try this method. Thank you,

I have to thank you for cleaning your washing machine. While you were cleaning, I had to pause and go look at mine. ( I have the same one ) I didn't even know that hose and filter was there. ( I've had this set for at least 15 years) I cleaned it. I was shocked to say the least. I have done a lot of handwashing clothes. Wringing out jeans is so difficult. Thankful for washing machines!

Noemi I agree that I appreciate my washing machine. I grew up without indoor water, we got ours from a well and laundry was done in a wash tub. Never won't to go back to that lol. I so love your videos. I think you are my favorite KZread. I love what goes into making them and love your content.

Thank you so much for your consistent support Ruth! Ha ha yes I agree I don't wanna do that ever again. Rinsing the clothes in cold water was the worst part probably I still remember how cold it was and water was everywhere in the bathroom 😄 Have a wonderful week to you Ruth! 💗🤗
