Spring Chinook THE SALMON KING!

Спорт

Every Spring Spring Salmon AKA “Springers” return to their natal spawning grounds and hatcheries along the Pacific Coast. Springers must return fattened up as they do not spawn and die until Fall of that same year. Their fat reserves have to be at 100% to survive for up to six months without feeding. Because of this excessive fat reserve they taste incredibly good.
This video was shot just North of Portland, Oregon adjacent to the Columbia River which has the largest runs of Chinook/King salmon on Earth. Come take a ride with Professional Guide/Writer Josiah Darr and enjoy the scenery and catching some fish!

JDarr your maneuvering the boat while landing the ** H A W G ** kinda goes unnoticed. Twice at the mid ship you could have come unbuttoned, but you allowed your crew member to straighten out and maintain pressure on his fish. I'm guessing if he was fishing solo, that PIG would have one head shake and G O N E!!! Nice job JDarr!!! About (4)yrs back I called you to go out for June hawg's and you told me at that time it would most likely be just a boat ride, and you didn't feel right about taking my money. Thanks for that, but I still need to hook-up with you when the June hawg's are on F I R E !!! Tight lines my friend. P.S. I'm retired now so I'm begging for the SENIOR discount... LOL *** S E R I O U S L Y !!!
