Awesome work with the young horses! It's a shame more parents don't realize patience and consistency are just as important for their children. "Make the right thing easy and the wrong thing difficult." Please keep up the good work ... and the good videos.

Nothing silly with what you do My Friend! You truly UNDERSTAND animal psychology, their fears, body language, even their learning capacities. If I were a young man would love to be trained by you. On a video note, truly enjoy your format, content and the views of the ranch and it’s surroundings. Much appreciation. Karl

Enjoyed your video. Teaching patience to a young man is a pretty big chore, most either have it or they don't. Hard to make him understand you are not teaching that horse anything, he learns by rote. You just have to not spook him and outlast him. Time and patience. Ain't nothing wrong with putting on your steel toed boots to trim the colts.

Your way is fine for you. I respect what you do. But the babies that I raised were born in a stall and handled from day one. Not over kill, but they would except me very early on. I would halter break and practice with feet at 3 months. Sooo much easier that way. But I understand that you have a big ranch with many babies! Not just 2 or 3.😊👍
