when you mentioned that the girls pretend to be asleep in the backseat so that they’ll be carried to bed, it brought back memories of doing exactly the same. my mum’s parents lived 2 hours away and we would regularly drive up to see them and come home late. every time I would pretend to be asleep, they would carry me up to bed and tuck me, I would think I got away with it until the very last minute just before they closed my bedroom door where they would tell me that they knew I was awake. I never learned to just ask them to carry me. I had to pretend to be asleep 😂

Omg I used to do the sleep thing too! Our apartment was on the 4th floor so I acted like I was sleeping so my dad would carry me up 4 flights of stairs 😂😂😂😂😂
