I read tuck everlasting for the 1st time in 5th grade and it has stuck in my brain every since as one of the best (and saddest!) books ever I LOOOOVE it! 🍄🍄🍄

My late grandfather made me watch Matilda when I was a kid and it was the reason why I love reading right now. The aesthetic, ambiance and the characters were all so nostalgic and it's a comfort movie, you all better watch it.

I appreciate the fact you included a gothic read. I personally love the idea of gothic/horror/thrillers set in summer or spring. Especially when it is in a green setting. Alice Adventures in Wonderland is definitely a very springtime read, and I am happy you included a wayward children book. I love that series, but I would personally argue all the books are springtime. I don't know why, maybe I just see portal fantasy as either a spring or a winter thing, maybe it is because in most of them nature is a prominent feature.

I'm currently reading Emma, it's the second book I read by Jane Austen, the first one being Pride and Prejudice, which I adore with my all heart; but Emma is sooo so good, the ability of Mrs Austen to gossip around and give you little plot twists of the characters' actions is absolutely to die for! Jane Austen is the queen of Tea Spilling 😌✨

If you love them I must entice you to read "Persuasion" too ! I actually prefer it to Sense and sensibility, which is the third people always mention when talking about Austen books. It's basically two exes meeting each other again 7 years after an awful break-up, and there is *so much* angst going on !

Ohmygosh, I think you will really like A Wizard's Guide to Defensive Magic by T.Kingfisher. It's about a 14 year old witch with a sourdough starter for her familiar. Also, she can only do magic through bread but is tasked to save the people. Can she? It's a short book but is such an amazing one! 💓

Ugh I have Gallant standing by but I need to finish my CPA exam first! Joanne Harris (Chocolat) also wrote one of my favorite modern adult fairy tales, A Pocketful of Crows. It…changes you. Tuck Everlasting is such a lovely film. Even as an adult it really taps into something within me.

🍄 Bridgerton! I'm rewatching the 2 seasons, right now. I LOVE that show. I'm also reading Ella "The House in the Cerulean Sea". After I listened to the audio book, I felt that Ella needed to experience the book, too. She finds it crazy how morbid Talia is...but she thinks it's really funny, too.

Loved this, it's always a treat when you post a video! I had to buy that copy of Alice you showed us (even though that story always freaked me out as a kid) I think I need it in my classic children's book collection. I'm currently in Vacaville, California visiting my sister and brother in law and a few days ago, I went to Barnes and Noble and I brought Capturing the Devil by Kerri Maniscalco and You've Reached Sam by Dustin Thao and then I brought A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray from Savers, a thrift store and I was so exciting. I know that You've Reached Sam is a spring kind of book because the cover has cherry blossoms and its so sweet 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸

I love Emma Approved which is a KZread series along with The Lizzie Bennett Diaries (And there are novel adaptions of The Lizzie Bennett Diaries and The Adventures of Lydia Bennett) which is also a KZread series I love. Saving Mr. Banks is a great movie following the story of how Mary Poppins was made into film. And there is a Cottage Core adult coloring book coming out soon or it already came out not sure.
