I'm a big fan of how you seem to have permanent fixtures and temporary/changeable ones on your altar, as I do as well. Also! Props for dusting. Lol, I swear I've never been more invested in dusting as a chore until I became a witch. 😂

My dream is to have a room for my magic/altar, but for now, it has to be very... collapsable. For the longest time, my altar was my art desk so everything was along the outer edges so I could work. It actually worked really well and sometimes ended up with my deities helping me even without me consciously asking. I love all the natural elements you bring into yours! It really does make it feel alive!

What I love about this altar is you can see that you work on it. That it's real, and it's used to do magick ♥️

I thought about not doing a spring altar this year, but you really inspired me when you said that it doesn't have to be like anyone else's. I get grumpy when spring comes because I'm not a really light color person, but I love darker shades of color and skulls. The skull could be represented as 'rebirth' and 'renewal.' Not just 'death.' So, I was inspired to use darker colors and a skull scarf I had as my altar cloth. So far, I'm really feeling spring. So, thanks again for your inspiration about not having your altar be like anyone else's (:

I've really gotten so much out of this video because it has given me the inspiration to redo my altars not only with beauty in mind, but also with far more practicality in mind too. Especially because I really want it to look good in time for Samhain. Which will be here soon for those of us living in the Southern Hemisphere. You have really helped me to realize that I also need far more room set aside for my writing, books, sketching, tarot and making everything far more convenient to readily use. I also need to declutter so that I can prioritize what are the most important things to keep in there or not? Which is the most magickal gift that I could give to myself ever. Thank you so very much Molly. Blessed Be & Namaste,🙏 Cazangelcat ⭐️❤️🌙

Beautiful altar. A couple of weeks ago, I looked out my back windows and the backyard was full of robins. After watching them for awhile I decided to look out the front and side windows, robins were everywhere...I was completely surrounded by robins. I've just gotten introduced to the concept of altars recently, but I know I'd like a little robin bird figure to put in a Spring altar one day!

Beautiful, as ever (you and your alters) I may try the suitcase idea, as I have a kitten who loves destroying nearly everything I possess. I had a beautiful alter in my craft room which we had to take down and store, or there would simply be nothing left. You mentioned that Spring might not arrive until June? Well, I live on the opposite shore from you, so if I see it first, I'll give you a shout-out. Blessings Be Dear Molly. ;-)

I have a very...precious cat that just loves to get to know new things. If she isn’t getting attention she asks for it by knocking stuff over. I think the suitcase suggestion is fantastic for us.

I can only do it for so long before I get uncomfy and I usually want to sit for longer but will get dead legs if I do lol! This is the prompt I need to sort that out so thank you Molly and blessed ostara and spring to you!

Good Morning Ms Molly!!! This is my plan for tomorrow :). Transitioning the winter to spring! Although today would have been the perfect sunny beautiful day to do it, work gets in the way. Sigh :). So I will prepare the items and actually set up tomorrow. Allllll through the house. My theme is “Nautical Spring” complete with pastel colored glass ornaments in the (fake) trees in each room, fairy lights (all year ‘round) , changing up the ancestral decor over the fireplace, refreshing the oil blends for spring and making new candles with dried flowers and herbs from my mothers garden (stored in mason jars from last year). Setting up new and continuing traditions for my sabbat books I’m making (continual work in progress!). Helps me to lead up to and celebrate the wheel of the year! Blessed Ostara Everyone! 🧚🏼‍♀️🌿🌸🌛🤔🌜🌸🌿🧚🏼‍♀️

wonderful video as always. you always inspire me in my own practice ♡. I wanted to ask about when you change your altar between seasons. Do you end up putting the same decorations each time (thus recycling old items), or do you switch it up every time? I find I have a box of items for each equinox and I switch to the same items each time with not much variant each year.

Thank you for what you do! I've been interested and I've been studying witchcraft for many years. I've also been collecting everything from stones to herbs, tools and books. I basically have everything I need. Also, I dry my own flowers and other things. So, here I sit with all this knowledge and these things, yet I can't seem to get myself to actually practice. I'm not sure if I'm just not confident enough, or what. I do cleanse my items. But that's about it. I feel like my feet are stuck and I'm not sure how to free them. It's probably just all in my head. But anyways, thanks again and have a fantabulous day!
