I've suddenly found myself a city witch, after having lived in a rural and very nature centric setting for the whole of my practice this far. It's a hard transition. There are no trees on my block, and not a lot of grass. It's not even terribly common for me to see a squirrel. So thank you for these prompts, it's pushing me to explore my new city a little bit more and find where I can connect to nature in its borders. I know there are parks I've yet to explore.

I call the earth mom or mommy and whenever I go outside I great her with a "hello mom." And I thank you and show my love and gratitude for her.💚

I love using tea tree oil in a lot of my "green" cleaners. I love the scent plus you don't have to worry if it gets on your skin. Favorite blends ? Patchouli , Sandalwood and vanilla.

Outdoor gardening for me. I started a compost bin a few months ago and I put weeds in it and certain food scraps and amongst I was throwing away old tomatoes and a couple of seeds must have sprouted and now I have tow tomato plants in two pots and five tomatoes on them and they are growing nicely. I also have a passionfruit in the back yard which is coming along nicely. I also have flowers growing I am drying out and using for my own oils I use for my face and body. You see I can't use store bought moisturises on my face any more as my face tends to stay read for the longest time and when I use my oils it is just a couple of seconds. I have also learnt how to make my own healing oils as well. Stay safe and blessed be.

(almost a year late, lol, but better late than never!) You have so many good ideas in this video-- Lately I've been thinking a lot about grounding/embodiment in the context of disability and chronic pain, and a lot of the techniques I see suggested involve bodily awareness, which, for those of us with chronic pain, is often very unpleasant and can be detrimental to our daily functioning, since a lot of us are forced to ignore our pain in order to live our lives. Your grounding techniques tend to focus more on external sensations, experiences, gratitude, which is SO much more helpful for me! I can focus on a scent that's grounding to me, or remember the way sunlight filters through the trees onto my bed, without remembering that the rest of me is in pain. So thank you for that!

This week I have done this by going back to your suggestions about Loci...as Im from Wa. and traveled from Montana to Texas and observing the local enviornments from Wa. to Montana to Texas. Its been a very interesting exercise and I have documented my observations.

I love your hair!

A mixture of salt, vinegar and lemon juice will remove tarnish from most metals found in the house especially copper pots.

I have thought a lot about eco consciousness in my practice and art and the connection between all of them. This inspired me to research greener paints and other materials even do some recycle art. This will be in the future but I so want a Cobb house with a glass bottle wall. Beautify earth x beautify my space.

I am growing Lavender. And at the moment I am weeding the garden and waiting for my sunflowers seed to come up.

Molly is one of the best I tend to watch also and she have great hair colour.

Drain cleaner for clog: Pour baking soda directly into drain. Boil water and pour over baking soda and drain slowly. Repeat as necessary. I live off of Lake Michigan and the thought of using chemicals to clean my drains worries me. It's not okay to add poison like that to a water supply that literally ends up all over the globe.

That's great, but it's more efficient if you add vinegar with the water. I usually boil a mix of vinegar and water in my kettle to clean limescale, then pour it on the baking soda, and voila ! Clean kettle and clean drain pipe in one go :-)

_ Asphobelle vinegar is always such a problem for me because of the smell. Can't handle it. I tried it with vinegar before I settled on my method

Earth astra yes, the smell of vinegar is harsh, especially when hot, and you sure can do without. Still, in a badly clogged drain, mixing baking soda and vinegar provokes a violent reaction that makes half the unclogging, meaning one would need no or less "repeat as necessary", if one doesn't mind the smell.
