When I used to do greens sprigging, we kept them wet as soup. 6 weeks was almost playable. I love what your doing and God has a plan for you brother. Keep pushing on.

I recall getting paid to literally watch grass grow lol - yes wet as soup is a great analogy

I do think it would be hilarious for a buyer to love the house and the lawn only to be told " no the previous owner is taking the lawn with them" haha.

Ha well, the grass I’m taking with me isn’t on the same “property” as the house so they wouldn’t get it anyway

We sprigged The Lawn Guardian's lawn with Ironcutter Bermuda and it is turning out fantastic. I threw my clothes away when done and drove home naked so not a drop of bermuda could matriculate itself into my TTTF

I remember also feeling a little unsure the first few days after I put mine down. I also remember being told that it will begin to look worse initially before I did my renovation and then boom, they start growing like crazy. I have no doubt yours will turn out great.

You need to push it. Put high N fertilizer on it weekly. It’ll really help. Spin the green into the weak areas with a cup cutter to help it spread better.
I agree man, the weather this summer has been such a relief compared to last year and the rain timings have been amazing. At least in our area, I'm near NWA.

You should see good coverage fro weeks 3 to 4. By 6 weeks you should be almost filled in completely.

Hey I used to live in the River Valley near Murray Park. I've since moved on the other side of the river in Maumelle, but my parents are still in the valley. Now that I have my own house I seeded Bermuda and reel mow it @ 0.75"

Get an irrigation pump from harbor frieght. I run 350' of hose and i can run 4 pgp ultra with no issue using 3gpm the i have 300ft on a big sprinkler impact throwing 90ft diameter. I have about 8gpm coming out the spigot without the pump.
This is the first I’ve ever seen this method. I spent so much money to do 2k sqft of blackjack Bermuda and it turned out horrible.
