Hi im studying DSS and BI now at Auckland University. I'm having some problems understanding the correlation between DSS and BI. It is said by our lecturer that BI is a solver sitting in the solver layer of a DSS. I don't really get this. Could you please explain it a bit to me? thanks!

I have a spreadsheet with 102 rows which I want to rank on a single column.. I have tried to use the =RANK( ), but it's not working

still confused :(
